How does "Lifetime with 30 days of download/update/support" work. I downloaded, installed and did everything as instructed. How do I tell if I have the lifetime licence. This is not explained. This is totally confusing.

Very pleased. I already hade an ASCOMP ID from a GotD program in 2020. The actual installer download was only 75MB and took seconds. The install took moments & all I had to enter was my customer ID... not even the program key. So, the install and registration couldn't have been easier.

As a test, I had it make a slideshow from a folder of just over 1700 small (~640x480) images. (Total size ~80MB) I set it to 3 seconds each with a random 1 sec transition, SD resolution. It took less than 3 minutes to get it started, without reading any instructions. This really underscores the "EASY" in the name.

On my old relatively underpowered school ~2014 school district surplus HP desktop with 8GB RAM, it took about 20 minutes to render the mp4 slideshow. The final product was 219MB with a run time of 2 hrs, 52 min. The images look as good in the slideshow as they do in an image viewer.

I deliberately gave it an ambitious task, in that I don't think anyone would sit through a 3 hr slideshow with over 1700 images. But if it did that in only 20 minutes on my old Win 10 computer, it should handle higher resolution images / output quickly and well on more current hardware.

It probably lacks the ability to do Ken Burns effect type image pans and transitions, but for a simple slideshow maker, it does exactly what it promises, does it well, and does it cheaply, even if one were to pay the full price. It's a no-brainer to get it while it's a giveaway.
