I haven't gotten too in-depth with this yet, but it does seem like it could be very useful. The only issue I'm seeing with this is that when items are sorted by date accessed, there are applications showing that they have been accessed within the last couple minutes that 1) don't run on their own, 2) don't run in the background, and 3) haven't been accessed by me.
I'm wondering if perhaps the background scanning of my antivirus is causing this change in the last access time. If this is the case, this may not be as useful as I had hoped it would be.

In my tests, it offers more information than the free Nirsoft RecentFilesView but is much (much) slower to load the data and to respond to clicks. Also, oddly, no column for date/time of last access.

What are you talking about? There are independent sorting columns for Date Accessed, Date Modified, and Date Created. And after the initial scan of your hard drive, the database loads right away and clicking entries is fully responsive and opens them instantly.

This was honestly one of the most useful giveaway apps I've ever used. It surfaces exactly what you're looking for via some decent sorting controls, so this became an important part of my daily workflow. It's so convenient, it's actually worth buying. Thank you for bringing this giveaway back!

Unfortunately for users TriSun has gone the way of subscriptions. Please note that the license for this "free" software is for 1 year. In the case of Advanced Recent Access. I ony use it when I need to know what software/file was running on a particular day, so paying a yearly fee would make no sense. I would like to purchase a license for one of their other applications, but again, I can only get it with a 1 year license. If I used it every day, that might not be so bad, but as it is, I might use it extensively for several days in a row and then not use it at all for over a year. So I have to look elsewhere.
