works fine but on windows xp when trying to select folders/files it gives the following error:

There are plenty of product titles and names that do more and beyond what their title says. I apologize for not knowing something, I've learned my lesson.

I tried Duplicate Photo Finder Plus 8.0 on 3 disks (928GB + 883GB + 450GB - total 2,261 TB used). All options checked. After 115 minutes he did not find anything. Two tests with the same result.
I tried with Clone files checker option image search. After 15 minutes he found 18081 duplicate images and a lost space of 16.358 GB. Clone files checker by SORCIM is not free, but it does its job. I uninstall Duplicate Photo Finder Plus 8.0.
Tried on machine with Windows 10 64bit i7 processor, 8 GB ram.

installed fine. very fast and powerful - be careful! it will find identical files where one has been turned the right way up for example, so need to doublecheck which you want to keep. It only finds standard photo files - so not .pspimage for example (I use ace utilities for all files - even more powerful and tweakable but can be slow!)

Using Windows 7 downloaded, installed and registered with no problem. Does a good job just as it says ie finds duplicates. For the money would have expected that it would have had a percentage similarity filter. Also found it quite tedious having to click on each box against a folder or file when selecting. Using the mouse click + shift to select a number of folders would have been far better. Also would have liked to have been able to clear folder/ file selections when still in the "select resources" screen without having to click "select" to go to another screen to do so. Perhaps I'm missing something so would be grateful if someone could put me right.
That said its a good freebee so I'm keeping it. Thank you GOTD and TriSun.

when you press delete to delete duplicate files it says files can not be found useless.

Most programs you have to select the files somehow, or the column of files, to delete. Did you do that? Tick a box or something....

J, yes i did that if i click the recycle bin option top screen it says the file has already been deleted umm no it has not. however when i click the icon next to it to permanently remove files it works so must be a bug or something im on windows 7 professional.

Huh... dunno then. Some programs will keep the file in the list, but if you look, the location of it changed. It went from whatever folder it was in to being in the trash. Not sure if that's the issue or not but whatever, at least it works (ish) now.

J, yeah lol got there in the end :) must say though it did a great job of finding duplicates and removing them the way i did but like i say just a little work around needed to fix the issue all in all good software does exactly what it says on the tin 5 stars.

No installer, I ended up going to the vendor website and downloading the demo.
From there I was able to use the key like normal to activate demo.

I turned off my antivirus while installing - as often advised in GOTD Read Me files but not this time - and it installed no problem.

Could not get it to Install on Win 10 Pro, get as far as Activation, then there is no Install the Box with the Code, just says close.
