I will not be downloading this or voting. There are plenty of free converters for converting HEIC on the web. I can't see the justification, especially for only a year's subscription. Check out Microsoft's free converter as well as other offerings.

John Davidson, it's not so simple!
Incidentally, I ran into HEIC issues yesterday. There does not seem to be any free converter available (not counting those crippled to 10 images per day). There is no free Microsoft's converter either (that I know of). Even Microsoft photo viewer cannot open HEIC if you don't have the right CODEC installed. This codec is now *paid* on Microsoft Store (but can be found free).
I would have used this converter if it was available yesterday :-). It's not very likely that I'll use it during the 1 year period, though...
I ended up using Irfan View, which can open HEIC after installing the right Windows 10 codecs (see Irfan's help pages).
