As the first line of the description says, this program is aiming at an office environment, thus it’s pretty much against the ’strictly personal usage’ GAOTD rules and personally of no use for a single-PC user like me. Too bad, it looked interesting.
Looks interesting. Does one need to install it onto each computer on the network?
Organizations are often faced with the dilemma of whether to allow employees to use Instant Messengers or not. The advantages of using IMs are that employees can talk to their own offices as well as offices of clients/ vendors/ associates across the world. The disadvantages of IMs are of course that they are easily misused and productivity could nose dive…
Network Assistant sews up the less-important end, by allowing employees on the same Network (LAN/ WAN/ VPN) to communicate with each other – with only employees online, chances for misuse are exponentially lowered…
For the larger organizations, you have VoIP and Video Conferencing of course, they are not likely to be interested in a 25 Dollar product such as Network Assistant!
The program installs fine even under Windows 7 Release Candidate and registration was easy too.
