Y’know what I was just thinking this morning? BOY I NEED TO CONVERT SOME MIDIS TO WAVS.
Then I hit my head again and regained my sanity.
Honestly, I don’t think this product is going to be changing anyone’s world, and I certainly wouldn’t pay for it. The main advantage I saw in this would be as an add-on to the other MagicScore products to encode those scores as .wavs, but for the life of me I can’t imagine why that wouldn’t already be included in that or any more-than-barebones score scribing application.
Lined up Offering!
Personally I am not interested in this kind of software, even if its offered for free!
However, I noticed that it makes total sense that GAOTD team to offer it! few days ago they offered a MIDI Score writer that would actually assist authoring music, out standing GUI and score WYSIWYG! Being a non-musician actually I was impressed with it, my Kids spent hours experimenting with notes and listening for what they’ve generated!
It totally make sense to have the .mid file generated from that giveaway offering converted to a .wav file! very much useful for those who are interested to port their “self-generated” music.
I am not going to vote for this giveaway of the day because I do not see myself as intended audience. I would rather those who downloaded and tested it give their feed back as well as their voting.
Thanks GAOTD Team for thoughtful line up of giveaways.
Cheers.
Can audacity do just the same thing here with MIDI?
