Helps you get back all kinds of lost or deleted data on Android devices.

IERescuer is a useful utility that extends the capabilities of your Internet Explorer browser. It enables you to continue working on the page or pages that were closed last time, even if your Internet Explorer or Windows crashed.

Start with the pages you had open when the browser was last closed. Reopen closed windows.
Don't trouble yourself about filling in the forms on the page again and again.
Having filled in any fields of the form on the page once, you won't have to bother yourself with it. You'll be able to restore it automatically the next time you launch your Internet Explorer.

IERescuer shows last visited pages dialog when Internet Explorer starts up, even after a crash if users wish.
Users can select any last visited pages to open, or close the dialog to open a blank tab.

Anand, the JetStart software was FREE for 24 hours of the giveaway period. Activate.exe doesn't make payments from your account:)

FIREFOX DOES THIS FREE.

I honestly don't understand why anyone with enough technical knowledge to be able to download and install programs, enough interest to check websites like this everyday, and enough freedom on their computer (ie not a work or school box) to install programs doesn't just download firefox. The ONLY reasonable reason to use IE at this point is the hundreds of pages that don't work in good browsers, but I don't even remember the last time I saw one of those. Even if you do find one, you can still use IE to go online after getting firefox!

Richard, the software icon is in the top right corner of your IE window, click it and select Register option, then enter the key.

Unable to get the program running IERescuer It locks up my browser when I try to open my initial web page in mozilla. After a good deal of frustration I was able to somehow get the lockup to stop but trying to run the program to enter the KEY Provided does not work. I get transfered to the web page of the software designer and find no way to activate the program. ????

"holy war “IE vs FF” "
I thought these comments are here to help people chose the right software. If people recommended other program for this, the comments shouldn't be removed. (And also some people might think you have something against Firefox and recommend IE as if you had something to gain from it. Do you? )
Censuring these is like annulling the freedom of speech. This is like what communists used to do when someone refused to play along with the system. People should have the freedom of choice. And not be misinformed for the dictator's personal game. Democracy must live on.

Guys, please do not start a holy war "IE vs FF" in comments, it's a wrong place to do that, I had to remove a couple of comments.

I had to give this product a lower than usual rating, because I was unable to locate any information in their help files or documentation about how secure it might be to use, or how they handle my privacy. I also do not have the time to discover it on my own. Presumably, it records the address of all of your web pages currently open, and all data you are typing into those web pages so that when a random crash occurs it can recover that information for you. It would have to store it somewhere, so that's where my questions begin...

1. where does it store this browser history? some possibilities are locally on your hard drive, in memory, or remotely? (hopefully locally! help file mentions "in memory" once)
2. Does it encrypt the data it stores? Do you really want your credit card numbers or other confidential information sitting around in plain text somewhere that someone can find them later?
3. How long does it keep this data around? (Hopefully only until you navigate away from the page?)
4. Does it "wipe" the data from its location, or just delete it? (if it just deletes it, then there is the possibility that someone could still find it, later)
5. Do they share the data they record with themselves, or anyone else? (I was unable to find a privacy policy, etc).

In summary, I am not trying to shoot down this company or their software, just trying to raise security awareness. These are the same issues that need to be considered with the browser's own cache and behavior. But at least we seem to know a little more about how most of the modern browsers work in this regard.

It might be nice software for the casual web surfer. It seems like a great idea to be able to get back where you left off in a crash, or save your current progress.

But for power surfers, online purchasers, stock traders, confidential information handlers, etc, I am not sure I could recommend using this software, because I am unsure of the way it handles the data it records.

PS I can also say that I liked the terms of their trial policy. :-) Seems very fair.

It' rather useless if someone uses Opera, Firefox or any other than IE broswer. But if you use IE this tool is ok.

I've done what is written by number 4, it works good now (although it's strange, that the program by installation itself changed this setting of SaveFlash). But now my user rating fo this IERescuer program is much higher, but I fear I can't change my rating anymore.

Okay I sussed it. I decided to download the video which gave me the idea to check the drop down menu on the internet explorer tool bar. Click on View, then go to the toolbar menu and make sure there is a tick next to the IERescuer. This enables the IERescuer icon on the right of the toolbar. Click on the drop down menu and then click on register. Place your activation code in the appropriate box and activate. Simple once you've realised what to do, lol. Sorry for the above message. I was getting a little frustrated. It's working now.

As stated, Firefox can easily do this on its own.

The program caused the disappearence of the SaveFlash programm, which didn't work anymore. Only after a system restoration the SaveFlash programm's back working again. So I don't like this IERescuer!
