FREEWARE LIST HOME [GAMES]

  1. What do you think of the idea that I try to maintain a "master list" of bookmarks as the first post in this thread - one for games and one for apps - might actually be useful for an easy lookup / primer for peoples bookmarks of useful sites / programs?

Master list as first post is a good idea if there cannot be a separate forum category. The only problem with stickies and master list first posts is over time they get rather long and gems are easy to miss. Is it not possible to have a separate forum category?

    More freeware games:

    Bitmap Brothers http://www.bitmap-brothers.co.uk/front.htm
    Fools Gold http://www.thefoolsgold.com/downloads/index.htm

Thanks for the link Wolven, saw that thread before but there was no final answer either way. Wondered if anyone had since heard anything directly from the administrators that may not have been included in the thread, guess not.

Well if they don't implement it here there's always this site http://freewarearena.com/html/Downloads.html

Hmmm, speculation on why no answer on the request? a.) They already started a freeware library after user requests and are done with the freeware angle? b.) Possibly cost is involved if they exceed a certain number of forum categories on Word Press? c.) If no cost then maybe Word Press format doesn't allow stickies or has a set limit on forum categories that has already been reached? d.) They're busy enough trying to get decent safe pay programs to offer for free every day and want to focus on that rather than being primarily another freeware site?

    That's all speculation, I don't have a definitive answer either. :P

PLAZMA PONG! Is this what Pong could've/would've/should've looked like in the 70's?

If anyone tries it, lemme know what you think.

Thank you ender for the link, though war games are not my genre, you can always make some finds on the site of freewaregenius.
Honestly, the best thing for me was, that you boosted up this thread again, I'm sure, I've never seen the nintendo games before. In Blades of Steel my blue player outplayed not only the red one but the referee too :)

Fantastic work, honestly there are so many additional links to the ones that I already have, this will keep me busy for a very long time. Thanks again.
