I went back a few dozen posts and saw WR and Chazzo recommend Monster Mash, while graylox appears to be fond of Tradewinds Legend. Any other recommendations so we know what to look out for?

I like the Slyder ones.
Since they have different kinds of games, you're going to have fans of each game. I personally don't like time management games so I have skipped the Tradewinds games.
Just go for the types you like and ignore them. You don't have to get them just because they're free.

MemberMy favorite is Pirate Island. It's a match 3 (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) without a timer (yay) and it has a story, trophies and dancing skeletons at the end of every level.
The grandkids and I have fun playing it :)There are 2 play modes....challenge (timed) and timeless. Also hi-scores for each level....best time and most points.

MemberOk, I'm not one to play a whole lot of games, so what confuses me is the fact that I have not seen a new game on Sandlot's giveaway for at least a year. Do they just cycle through 6 games? I know it is free and I do appreciate it, but one would think they would have a few games that are pass the purchase phase. All I ever see is Grandma, Tradewinds, Slider, Boonzka (sp?) and Westward or something like that.
