   Perhaps the best know of these is Strange Adventures in Infinite Space (SAIS), a coffee break style space exploration game. You can read a review of this game here: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/strangeadventuresinis/review.html

   Other games include wargames, a matching game, a tetris type game, a worm game, and a fantasy RPG.

   Thanks for the info Campy. It's always good to find more free games. If we don't get much reaction to this post i'll add the free games to the free games project (with a thanks to you for finding the games) :)

   Some of the games such as Dr Blobs organisms (which I almost bought a few years ago when it was still a commercial game) and Plasma worm have already been included via the project, but there are several new ones. Nice find Campy.
