Downloaded StarBurn v.12 on May 29th, 2009 without any problem.
I was burning Prison Break last episode when I noticed I got 11 days left to use StarBurn v.12.
I was wondering why it was happening as though StarBurn v.12 didn't register itself when I installed it on the day it was given away? Has anyone else got this kind of problem? Does it mean after 11 days I could not used StarBurn v.12 anymore?

My copy is still okay. Fully registered.
You haven't been using a registry cleaner recently - have you?
If you did hopefully you'll have created a backup of the registry..... just a though
Good news is that Starburn is given away fairly regularily and the freeware version is virtually the same as the registered version. I think the only difference is something to do with being able to use the program remotely and blue ray iso imaging

Come to think about it, yeah I did some registry cleaning awhile back but I don't know whether I did a back-up or not? I'm gonna check it up after posting this.
Thanks for the info. Do you mean that I can still use StarBurn v.12 after the eleventh day? That's good news. I can live without the program remote and blue ray ISO imaging, lol!

After finding high and low, I finally found the back-up registry and I got back my StarBurn v.12 registered.
A question, how do I avoid it from happening again should I decided to clean up the registry?

Hola ArahMan, if you want to use the registry cleaner again you'll need to search though all the keys that the cleaner has marked for deletion. This can be a tedious afair, but worthwhile. I'd create a restore point first.
Glad to hear you were able to find the previous back ups and return Starburn to a fully registered version.
I want to visit Malaysia some day. We have an old university friend who lives in Kuala Lumpur city, that we've promised we will visit one day. Maybe combine the journey with a trip to Thailand or Australia :)

Thanks for the info. Look like there's no easy way to do it. It gonna be a tedious but like you said, it would be worthwhile.

Fyi, I live (Kuala Kangsar, Perak) about three hours drive (about 200Km) from Kuala Lumpur.
I know you'll be very busy, but I hope you'll point Kuala Kangsar as a place to visit.
