Once in a while, I encounter some quotes, analogies, metaphors and fun words that tickle my funnybone. May as well have a category for them.

The difference between genius and stupidity is, genius has its limits.

Nice! Now are you going to post one per day or is this intended to be an forum where, possibly, many quotes per day might be submitted? In other words, what are the rules? :)

There are those who make things happen
There are those who watch things happen
There are those who ask what happened?

    Others just get wet.

  4. Bobby....That's a good one. Nice idea fo rthe thread too.

Been wanting to tell you I was at your website (about your dad - very interesting) and there's a comment on there to "contact us" but no way to do it that I could find. Just thought I'd let you know in case it was not intentional.

Oops, I just realised it said 'Quote of the Day' so I apologise for not reading correctly and doing two quotes.

TempoLox, I did not realize you started a similar one! I'll close this one if you'd like to run yours. Your posts are so much more fun anyway :)

Otherwise, post however many you choose and on any family-friendly topic.

*Hoss, almost fell out of my chair laughing at that one .. it's definitely a keeper.
*Maizey, I'm a card carrying Groucho fan .. excellent choice!
*RobM, who gets the credit for your rain quote? I've never heard that one before, but it's already a favorite.
*Paulga, "The Life of Reason" is an old favorite, love the choice.

Here's one that Pretzel, Runes and other writers will appreciate:

Paulga, thanks for the explanation...I totally missed that one. 'pology 'cepted...if you'll accept mine. Already behind us because I learned not to drag a yesterday into today... not only does it give me grey hair, but it annoys the dickens out of tourists in the space/time continuum.

Thank you for visiting my Dad's site. The Homestead site is still a work in progress and I really appreciate the heads up on the broken link. I will get that fixed tomorrow.

To Bobby, 'Some people feel the rain, others just get wet' is by the infamous Bob Dylan, sorry I forgot to mention him.
