This idea was mooted by Clemmie in another post called "Best rated and downloaded GAOTD for the month" you can see that post by following this link:

Basically Choose the three softwares you though were the best from the weeks giveaways. Games shopuld be excluded for now, at least until the game giveaway returns to its normal 7 a week. I suggest we take Friday to Thursday each week, then at the end of each month select the best from the four each month. I thought choosing the best three or maybe even four from each weeks. I'd be quite happy to do the toting up each week to see what has won. Anyway I'll stop complicating things and make my first three selections for this weeks giveaways which range from the 2nd April to the 9th April (Adolix PDF Converter Pro to Flash Optimizer)

For this week my choices are:

    1) Cyberpower audio editing Lab
    2) Topaz moment
    3) RESTrict control panel (this has replaced win boost that I've been using for years and once I've paid for all the pre ordered games that I have on order at the moment I'll probably buy this as I want the updates.

It may be an idea if those who are interested in this project post a link to this thread whenever they remember. I'll try to do so as well, that way we may get more interest. I'm sure that the majority of community members don't bother posting here in the forums. (but I may be wrong - it took me over a year to start posting regularly.

Mine are Topaz Moments, and Comfort clipboard. I didn't try the other offers as they didn't interest me.

Comfort Clipboard. I was not interested in any others.

By the way, WR, you could always ask voters for the top 3 Games of the Month, as there would currently be at least 8 to choose from each month. You could ask for votes after the last weekend in April. My personal suggestion for tabulating votes would be to assign points as follows:

    #1 - 5 pts
    #2 - 3 pts
    #3 - 1 pt

If anyone (such as myself above) chose only one title, you could give it one point. If they chose only two titles, you could give them 3 pts and 1 pt. This is merely a suggestion, as I am a numbers guy and always see that aspect of everything (and I love statistics). -Dan

    yeah, cclip was about it.

today's I'll try but don't expect better than the standard version.

I suppose I should add easus disc copy 2.0- a reference in DRW Pro's docs led me to it.

call it a fortuitous find, half points.

Topaz I don't expect to find much use for, I thought Topaz Enhance sounded good until I found that it was 350 clams plus a thousand for adobe after effects- and if yer cpu ain't intel the thing won't run. Period.

    2. Topaz Moment

Both programs have already shown themselves to be extremely useful. Among thousands of historical images in Dad's collections, there are original music scores and artwork that will be protected by Bytescout. Topaz will allow me to pick/restore images from old video (or film converted to video). If needed, Reshade (another Giveaway gem) takes up where Topaz leaves off.

For my projects, Bytescout and Topaz Moment rate 10 out of 10 for efficiency, ease of use and user-friendly GUI. They deliver.

This week hasn't been a favourite week, but I like this thread. :-)

The program I'll probably get the most value from is Cyberpower Audio Editing Lab.

And I think Data Recovery Wizard Professional is a good item to have in the toolbox.

I tipped off various other folk to the Flash Optimizer giveaway, and they were pleased to hear about it, although I think the Mac version would've been received with more cries of delight.
