Anyone like shooters? If so, then give BossInABox a try.

"Most shooters make you suffer through waves of useless drones until you reach the big baddie at the end. Who needs that kind of button-jamming foreplay? BossInABox is one long frustratingly tough boss fight. If that doesn't scare you away, enjoy the challenge. Move the crosshair around the cube's exterior. As you blast the boss to bits, multiple Mini-Mes spawn in to make your life miserable!"

Go to http://www.digipen.edu/GameGallery/websites/BossInABox/index.html for some gameplay movies and screenshots, and of course, the download.

Hope you survive the challenge!! :-)

Top o' the morning to ya, FwF. I'm wondering if whack-a-boss games are more likely to help postal employees vent/defuse their frustrations or just embolden them to go postal for real? :-)

Hey RM, how's it going? You could be on to something there! Then again, it might just be the therapy they need.. And don't forget those Mac Attack types.... :-)

Downloading this one now. It looks kinda interesting. From the download page I would assume it was one of those college projects. I would have been here earlier, but decided to wrte the Trackmania review, which took me far longer than I'd intended. (I took 98 screen captures, lol). I'd frgotten how excellent it was, despite having those two discs I got free. I remember the first time I tried it, I decided I didn't wan't to play solo (in the singleplayer section) and wouldn't venture onto the internet. now that I have a LAN I can try it out against family and friends. Smart. :)

I'll probably write a review for todays game in the morning, but then it depends on how comlex the game is. Trackmania had a lot about it, so obviously took longer to piece things together.

I forgot to mention it in my first post over on the games section, but have made up for that. :)

Take care, WR. And take some time just for you, ya know? Just to have some fun, no reviews, no work, just to relax!! :-)

Already done the review. I got hooked once I'd got the game to work so thought why not.

    p.s.
Thanks for the thought FF; I wouldn't write the reviews if I didn't enjoy doing so. Besides I need to keep my mind ticking over. If I didn't write this stuff I'd be a gibbering mess by now because of the opiates I have to take. (I'm still writing a Battlefield 2 review for the singleplayer community that's approaching 1200 pages in length (as well as other projects) - the project has been shelved for several months while I caught up with other stuff, but I'm just about to re-start it so that I can finish it (at least another 500 pages), though at the moment I need to find which hard drive all the documents and screen captures are located. The modding and mapping community have almost come to a standstill due in part to all the new releases, so it's a perfect time for me to try and finish it.)
