Thanks Graylox, I missed this when you posted it. It's a shame that all posts can't be accessed from a single page like using a scroll bar, instead of having to search page afrter page, as I'm sure there are lots of great posts that get buried in this system. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to searching through the archives.

I'll be checking these links out and if I find any I like I may write a short review, which will be linked to this post, so hopefully it will stay up front for a while longer.

Checked 'em out and there's some good links such as the Home of the Underdogs. I've also downloaded a few of the games from other links as they look promising. I also found a few driving games to add to the wheels post I made yesterday.

i also know some of these sites, although most are new to me.
    thanks graylox!

home of the underdogs is great, but i'm pretty sure it's not being maintained anymore(i read this at some forum or another), which doesn't matter too much but i find it's a very slow site to load.

Uh oh, Johnny Appleseed's throwing out a seed... so everybodyPANIC!
    http://everybodypanic.org/linegame.htm
Must be the second or third time I've stumbled across this sort of game. (hopefully not from a link previously posted here) This one operates in a windowed screen (vs tiny flash screens), it seems to load faster and offers a choice betwixt mouse or key play.

Johnny, please line your seeds up, that I can work off them one after the other, without missing one; you now the search tool is not the very best here.

Graylox, in case you missed my message to Mangoette, creating a desktop shortcut out of this link should allow you to search the whole GAOTD site using any params you want...
    like "Johnny Appleseed" maybe?

Johnny Appleseed's back with a match 3 game and a game site that I don't believe has been mentioned on GAOTD before.

MrFishy, Thanks but I continue to splatter on the spikes! Why me? :-)

A mentally stimulating exercise, indeed, but leave it to me to break the game by giving the poor little fellow a nasty wedgie. (you can barely see him wedged betwixt the spike and wall at the bottom of the left hand well)
No blood, no movement, no faint plaintive cries for help, just the error message. He's gonna starve to death before we can chopper an EMT on scene! Got any ideas? Ouch! Wedgie Alert!

BTW- With no Levels counter, I can only guesstimate that this tragedy occurred at about the 8 or 9th level.

Yes, Ms. Daze . . . those spikes are awfully sharp! : -)
Rune . . . I did manage to get stuck a time or two (frozen-like) but was able to regain the page by simply clicking on it (not necessarily the actual game screen) . . . hope this helps.
That IS one nasty wedge! Atomic at the very least.

Thanks, Fishy, but the script error gave a yes/no to abort option. First I chose NO and nothing happened. So, whatcha gonna do but click YES, eh? Well, the error msg disappeared, but so did the little man! Thus the game was pretty much over, cause I'm fresh out of white mice to send scampering thru a maze.

Appreciate the link to ARMOR games, though, where they're offering SHIFT 2.
Just when you thought the spikes had withdrawn... mwahahahahaha
Now there are checkerboards, lightbulbs and 90-degree twisty dials. Last time I just wedged him in tight. This time I'm probably gonna electrocute the poor SOB.

BTW- apparently you now can create your own levels. Reminds me of KYE. Kye's old home.

Johnny Appleseed's waving his dibble wildly and shouting,
"Wooo Hooo!! Great News... looks like Kye's found a new home!"

can anybody explain me, how to play shift2 ? it starts with falling into that pit and than - splat and out

I just had a try at switch2, found the same , pit/splat . . . did it again and the teeth stopped just before hitting me, then some walls shook, etc and then voila, a way out and off to the next x # of levels.
Oh, almost forgot . . . from the start, now knowing the pit was there in the darkness, I did jump on the second try (which was when it moved on to allow my play)

Hi MrFishy, now I'm starting to understand the game, but no walls shooked - perhaps the next time ;-)
    Thanks !

Graylox, trust me, there IS a way to get past that first pit, very counterintuitive. Think out of the box as if you were a member of SG-1 (Stargate), or maybe Indiana Jones. Do what your brain tells you not to do. Oh, and as they say in real estate, it's location, location, location.

Hello, all, it's Johnny Appleseed again, stopping by to seed a universe called:
    EVE-Online.

Species: Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG)

    14-day free trial

    Wiki Info

Might be an exotic universe for someone to grow in their backyard PC. I can't vouch for the thing as I'm still trying to get Sky Aces danged bi-planes to fly straight and level.
