   edit: just noticed you didn't mention thatthis was a game through steam, might be usefull info? ;)

   reacting on a post on the GGOTD site where someone had troubles on how to activate steam it might be an idea to include in your post on how to get the game actually on steam itself after getting the key?

   for those new to steam you MUST download the steam software to be able to run any steam related game, latest build can always be found on http://store.steampowered.com/ and you MUST make an account if you haven't done that. Should you install steam for just one game? maybe not but have a look around there store pages, you will find a lot of free to play games there as well and steam also offers very high discounts (up to 90% sometimes) on high rated A games even sometimes giving out older versions of a game when a new version comes out (this way I got Sniper Elite 2 completely for free) you have to pay attention though because they are not sending out notifications a lot, keep an eye on their "news" pages.

   So you have downloaded steam and made your account, then start up steam and log in, now you will see a browserlike app with several tabs called "store" "library" "Community" and "yourusername", look now at the bottom left of your window and you will see the option to "add a game to steam". After clicking this you get three options, the second options is to add a game by steamkey "Activate a product on steam" . Clicking that will bring a pop up explaining what you can do and telling you to click next, doing so will bring you to the place where you can paste your steamkey. click next several times while reading what they tell you (location of install and such) and the game will start downloading, depending on your connection speed this can go wit speeds up to 11.5Mb/sec. After downloading you will find the game in your "Library" ready to play.

   I've had to remove the link to the PC Gamers bundlestars site because the link I was using kept showing the Steam key I received. Once I've given it to my son tonight, I'll replace the link. You should be able to find the site by googling PC Gamer Bundle Stars Gun Monkeys. :)
