Forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life to enjoy innovative 3D graphics complemented by ambient music. Big City Night is so splendid!
Big City is amazing by day but even more amazing by night. It is true to say that a night city has a look and color all its own: it’s stark, yet strangely beautiful. Tour around its streets and enjoy a landscape painted by a palette of darkness and florescent lights in beautiful 3D screensaver. Empty lanes of traffic, alluring urban nightscape over the water, dazzling neon signs and empty corridors of buildings make the bright city even more magnetic.

Whew. GOTD has been hitting home runs for a dozen days now. Thank you SO much.
What is it? I know sometimes I am slow…but what is the purpose…my best guess it is a screen saver….
Excellent. It’s really nice to see a screensaver after an absence of almost a year. I’ve missed the fortnightly screensaver giveaway. Lets hope they are making a comeback :) (though there will be those that are groaning).
That said I’m rather disappointed with this screensaver. I’d much prefer to see images of real city night scenes. Video clips of several cities could easily have been strung together to make an effective looking screensaver. Instead we have a screensaver that looks very unrealistic. Theres not enough variety in the building forms and the lights just look false. Ah well at least its free. :)
worth an average 5 out of 10
I’d get better results from videoing my Cities XL and making a screensaver for that. All I need is a freeware screensaver making program. Any ideas?
