Atmosphere Lite Plus is designed to help mask noise, promote relaxation or even to replace an entire collection of natural sound CDs. You can listen to the soundscapes in realtime or use the inbuilt recorder to create your own relaxation / ambient sound CDs or MP3s using the sounds you find most pleasing.
There are several soundscapes included which can be loaded with one click from the main interface. However the real beauty of Atmosphere Lite Plus is the ability to customize these inbuilt soundscapes exactly to your liking, or create entirely new ones by adding individual sounds to a blank soundscape.

This is slightly better than the free version, but still lacks some features such as Equalizer, MP3 import, presets etc,. Anyway good gotd!
This is a fun little program. Installed on Win 7 Professional 64 bit without difficulty. Lots of options and after only a few moments playing around with it I was ready to buy the Deluxe version (and would have if there had been a discount offered.)
You have control over 18 background sounds such as rain, wind, campfire, ocean, and stream, and 60 random sounds including various insects, birds, wind chimes and thunder rolls. You have access to 10 presets, but can load additional presets if desired. You can also record what you are listening to. The program also includes an alarm function.
You also have control over Master volume, Background sounds volume, and random sounds volume.
There are a lot of options to play around with and as mentioned above, after only a few minutes of experimentation, I knew this one was a keeper.
having looked at their version comparison matrix just the simple fact that this version of their product can only import wav sound files is enough to make me not even want to download it. Come on this is 2010 wav format is a legacy format at best. WMA/OGG and MP3 can all be added free of royalties so should be in the lowest version that allows importing of audio. By implication the light plus version is standard and the delux is extra content and features not normally needed by the standard user, but in reality the delux version is the one containing the standard features that would be needed by the standard user wanting to compose their own soundscapes in my opinion.
