Can anyone offer any free money programs where input bought items either daily or weekly, shows where most money spent at.
I can only afford free things at this time, that is why I am trying to save and put myself on a budget.
Hope someone can help me. Almost forgot, need to download it to my dad's computer then put on a usb stick and installed on my non internet hooked up computer.

I have to admit that I was pretty hopeful when I saw the giveaway today. Organization is not my strong suit, and for whatever reason (probably operator error) financial software reacts to me like I'm in the Bermuda Triangle or something. Therefore, a simplified way to track earnings would be fantastic. While "5 Icons Income" is definitely simplified, it's just a bit too much so... even for me. It doesn't allow for variables to the income that one is tracking, such as expenses that relate to said income. As far as I'm concerned, it's important to include business related expenses when tracking income for the obvious reason that any income that is tracked will actually be less due to the expenditures.

Another issue with the program is that even in a simplified income tracker, I feel it's important to be able to note just exactly where that income came from. For instance, my avenues of income are numerous and mostly craft or diy related. I NEED to know how much income each facet brings in (minus expenses) so that I can cull any projects that are wasting time and money as soon as possible.

Lastly, (this, of course, is just my own opinion)I didn't like the way that the program puts all of its emphasis on reaching the goal of one's anticipated monthly income. I mean, that is really all that today's giveaway does, besides awarding you "icons" each day for however much closer you have come to reaching that goal. Speaking of which, the icon system seems a touch toward juvenile. It felt like I'm working for gold stars in elementary school again or some such thing. Paying my mortgage and covering my bills are award enough for me to reach my goals. ;)

My conclusion (and again, only my opinion) is that this program is more suited to tracking sales goals and/or bonuses, or maybe the current placings in sales contests or a similar event. It's just TOO simplified to be of any real world use as an actual income tracker the way it sits now. Maybe polish it a bit and allow for notations and business related expenses, and the developer might be on to something. Not all of us want to argue with (not so) Quickbooks or what have you on a daily basis. Until I've located this (not too) simplified unicorn, I've elected to "chisel on stone" in a good, old fashioned ledger book.

Are there instructions for this? An overview of features? Anything that tells those of us who have never heard of "5 icons" what to do. I thought it would be in the "read me" file but there's nothing there, and all the icons in the lower left of the opening screen are just for sharing the program. So how do I import income? Get the charts? Etc/.?

I agree with the previous commenter who asked if a high school paperboy wrote this program. A simple Excel spreadsheet showing a pie chart of all income sources for a period of time would be more useful.

The program asks you to enter your anticipated monthly income, then takes you to a calendar in which you enter your income each day. I don't see any breakdown by type or source of income, so I don't know how it will break down the sources and display them as relative sized icons. Seems like a waste of time and disk space, so I will uninstall it.

Here's a suggestion: The developer needs to come up with a title and / or description (including the advert image) that says something. My initial impression is this is some kind of icon kit, but maybe that's not it. It's financial? What does it do exactly?

Take a calculator, input your monthly income and divide by 30 and your daily income is the ratio from above. That is what this software is all about. DO you need it, NO, does it is worth installing, NO, does it help you in any way in your finances, NO.

Downloaded, installed win 7-64 & registered no problem. OK for free but the interface is overwhelming and seems complicated.

Knowing how much money you make isn't really much use on its own. The help file is very honest about what the product does and doesn't do - it's not accounting software - but who would actually use this? And what benefit would it give over the "traditional, boring" bookkeeping software?
Also, couldn't find any way to delete an entry made in error without going to the xml file in the data directory.

I couldn't understand the function of this program from the description. So I gave it a try.

Conclusion: It is like an excel sheet adding daily (income) values and comparing them on a monthly self-imposed base. So it is useful only for people having no fixed income (freelancer, worker working overtime…). By adding their daily income they can see whether they will reach their target.

However, this program can more: you can use it as your house account book. First, you can set your stable net income (like most of us will have) as the target and second, you can fill in your daily expenses. So you will see whether you’re spending too much money or whether you will save money at the end of month. If you will reach your target during the month, you will not have too less income but too many days in this month;-)

Seems to be a nice program. A bit different than others. Will help me in knowing if I am on path of financial success. Others may not be so nice though... Nice one from Trisun.

For those with simple needs, this is a visually appealing (at least to me) and very user-friendly program. "Simple", I believe is the keyword here.

This does look a nice program. I suppose that as I've written that, many people will rate my comment as 'not useful', but that's the way this bit of the Internet seems to work :-(

Hmmmm, I am clueless. Who programs such a software? A teenager, who gets his first 10 dollars for newspaper selling? A programmer novice with too much spare time? And who pays for such software? Unbelievable!
