Downloaded, installed, and registered without any major problems (Microsoft Defender didn't want it installed, and I had to do the "run it anyway" method. Upon executing it, however, it gave me a fright. It immediately started DOING things; I don't like software that does things without asking first. It immediately tried to import things from I-Tunes (fortunately I don't use I-Tunes, or it would have been doing SOMETHING with 6,400+ files). It DID jump into the first sub-directory it found in a "Music" directory and loaded 37 files into Something or other(?) Library, and it either started playing the first song by itself, or I accidently clicked on it in my frantic effort to stop the program from doing I-Don't-Know-What. I found the options screen and immediately unchecked a host of things I thought it presumptious to do by default. I don't like the way this software behaves; I immediately thought of uninstalling it, in fact. However, I MAY (Cautiously, Carefully) experiment with it. I'm currently regarding it as a dangerous cannon, however. I want to make sure it isn't going to do something I don't want it to do; I don't currently trust it. It'll take a lot of reading to figure out how to proceed.

RiverboatSam, you shouldn't get nervous about Zortam, the apps is safe and secure and anyway, if you feel threatened you have the Author himself Mr. Zoran right there at the About file where you registered it.
Here some interesting info for your perusal https://www.zortam.com/wordpress/category/zortam-news/

I have loads of good, old songs too and when I'm driving longer stretches I like to put them on from my flash drive (cars are not coming with CD players anymore) and that's when I miss some lyrics that my girl and I should follow from my dashboard screen. Will Zortam help me out here?

Hi, My computer tried to block me from installing this and then flashed alarms about malware, which it quarantined. All is well, but just thought you should know. I look forward to trying this program. Thanks!

Becca, I got also a strange and unusual alert from Google saying "Zortammp3studiopro...zip is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous." I chose to keep it because......I'm greedy.

John, not only Google. Further to my above comment about the warning received from Google I also received one from Microsoft that I had to ignore, to my own peril, considering that obviously Zortam is doing something wrong by ignoring these 2 biggies and carrying on with something that appears to them as Malware. Zoran Gvozdenovic, author of Zortam still did a good job with this apps because I already went through some 400 MP3 songs and received the lyrics and Art cover for some of them. I happen to like what he did, it's a good little apps.

I downloaded to check out the autotag feature. I have songs in my collection that are on "Greatest Hits", "Best of", ETC. I was looking to find the original album name and release year. Tried two different songs/groups with no luck. I have used other tag programs that give you an option to select the correct info from a list of possibilities. So... This will not be of any use to me.

I have used Zortam many years ago I liked it.
So, I am downloading to see how the latest version functions.
My main interest is seeing how the autotag works.

Rosco Jones, The new auto tag algorithm is working much better. It doesn't recognize all of the songs but it recognizes most of them (90%).
