I had the Ver 14 Pro also given by GOTD previously on 3 Oct 2012.
It could handle EXIF stamping, do panorama and can work with Unicode file names in foreign languages.

Have not tried Ver 15 PRO after installing. It self activated.
Expect it to be just as good.

#171, Tezza, you shouldn't have uninstalled Zoner. There was already a shortcut directly to the editor. Additionally, under Settings, Preferences, Integration, you can choose whether the Viewer or Editor is launched when you right-click on an image and select "Open with".

I have been happy with this program so far, but ran into a problem. I went to upload my pictures to a photo site to order prints and I can't find the folder I made. So then I tried to use the program to Burn them to a disk and it won't work. I have a disc burner, but it won't burn them to the disk through Zoner. Any suggestions? Is there a forum site I can go to and find answers to questions since they offer no support for this free version?

I realize the give away is over now, but I hope my comment might be useful to the makers of the software anyway.

I have uninstalled it, because I prefer to use photo software for editing individual pictures, I do not like photo browsers. Full credit to you for making one of the best photo browsers I have seen, but I do not like seeing all pictures from all over my computer gathered together, when I know exactly the one single photo I wish to work on.

I certainly would have kept it, if it had a way to turn off the browser from trying to find every photo on my computer. I think it probably does have such a facility already, but I was not able to find it in the limited time I had to test the software. If you have the ability to prevent the searching for photos, please could I ask for it to be made more prominent in future versions please? I know most people like photo browsers, but as a semi-professional photographer, all mine are already sorted and I only ever wish to click on one photo and work on it. Just a personal preferance of mine as I use IrfanView when I do wish to view a single folder at a time, not catalogue the several thousands of pictures I have taken.

#129, William Gorman, the Clone Stamp tool in Zoner has many parameters. Study the Retouching Tools help very carefully and make sure that you understand what each parameter does. Note that even if you uncheck Aligned, the source still moves with the destination, it's just that it springs back to the original source each time you release the mouse button.

This program is amazing, and a great suppliment to your favorite photo editor, like Photoshop. It also edits pictures, but it's real beauty is the browser.... Overall the program looks alot like the new version of ACDSee, and the image/folder browser is hella fast, and will even let you preview video. Great for sorting out that big pile of unsorted family pictures.

I paid a lot for my Adobe programs, so I suppose $70 is reasonable. For free I'd have to say - grab this one, you won't be sorry.

#134, Lisa, by default Zoner should show up in the "Open with" right-click menu for image files. It's under Settings, Preferences, Integration, "Integrate Zoner Photo Studio into Windows". It shows that administrator rights are required to do that. If Zoner isn't in your "Open with" list, try clearing the setting, Apply, select it again, click Apply again. If you don't get a UAC prompt in Vista or higher, close Zoner, right-click Zoner in the Start menu and select "Run as administrator" (administrator password may be required). Toggling the integration setting again should work. Stay away from the file association settings unless you want Zoner to take them over.

Jesus, Giovan, how many hands HAVE YOU GOT?!?!? LOL...

I must agree with you and many others...as one who seldom comments here (though i read 'em all every day)...this is one fantabuloustic giveaway. I have a half dozen of the most popular photo programs installed: picasa, xnview, irfanview, coded color, fast stone, Kodak Easy Share, Wondershare - but i've been using Zoner 14 home almost exclusively. It's just so...well-designed. I love it. Try it, you'll like it.

I have the previous giveaway, the Home edition. On a whim, I opened it before installing the current giveaway. It offered an update that I applied (had nothing to lose as I was going to install the Pro version anyways). It was still registered. So one might be able to upgrade this version in the future.

Win XP SP3 .

I suffer from ISP , BT profile changes to download speeds despite complaints to their call centre ( India ) ! My first download timed out and said it was a complete zip file despite I could see from the size it was not.

My second download attempt worked , downloaded and installed ok over previous version given away. Choosing Custom instal lets you choose where you want it to the person who commented about there small c drive.

Thumbs up to Zoner for answering people comments here and saying it is registered automatically, however most people like to see it is registered to reassure themselves. Under help , "about " it says version 14 build 7 pro and the copyright and ok button.

Under help , " license" it says enter a license and choose a license which are both blank.

I extracted the GAOTD file to the folder , despite the comments say you dont have to, it would be nice if the prog showed it WAS registered to save us paranoid that it was not .

Other than that I concur it is a fantastic prog and would recommend
downloading it to those who have not tried it. However there are too many features for me to learn or find or try .

I would suggest the prog itself has a suggestion button under "help", to let all your customers suggest improvements , if they want to.

Originally heard about Zoner Free from Gizmo's Tech Support Alert and compared it to XnView and FastStone Image Viewers. Both of these are very nice but Zoner looked far more professional and became my choice.
I recently got 14 Pro from another site and would like to recommend this Giveaway of the Day with the highest praise.
Install and enjoy!

TO GAoTD Team

I have mentioned this a number of times before. When a software is offered that requires your activation rather than having us enter an activation key I have the following problem and cannot activate the software offered.

Message displayed "Failed to connect. Please try again later.

If there is a Window's setting that is blocking this I am using:
Window's 7 home Premium. & IE 9.0.8.

Is there an alternative way I can install the software and then validate it as you have done before - entering a registration code?

Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks for another great program. I've tried a lot of photo image programs.... "played" around with them anyway. Not an expert, but I'm impressed with the easy installation and the speed of Zoner in loading the program and displaying all my pbotos. Controls are intuitive and once I changed the color scheme to one of the lighter themes I could read all of them easily. The dark and black themes are difficult for my “old” eyes to read. I only recently “discovered” GAOTD and really appreciated the opportunity to get quality software. I can play around with it and keep if I decide I need and want it.
I appreciate all of the comments of GAOTD users, staff and the Zoner staff. Impressed that there is opportunity interact with the program and GAOTD staff. In response to the earlier comment about the install making Zoner the default for all image files, it has been my experience that this is true for many program installers of all program types including the big names, if you use the “normal” “recommended” or “quick” options (usually pre selected choice) . I usually select the “custom” install and deselect the defaults and “extra” tool bars, search, etc that many programs try to install along with the main program. This avoids new unwanted stuff added my computer. Thanks again.

I’m also using Windows 7 64bit

First time any problem with a GOTD installation.

This has got to be one of the best ever, it has many features and I like the black background which then you can concentrate on the work in hand. I also like the management page on which it gives detailed information.
The price tag for home use is a little high for most people and they will only go for a lower , on which the company are loosing out possibly around $50 would be far more realistic, then as a commercial product they can afford more as this is indeed a fabulous product and a little increase would offset the loss by lowering the price to homeusers. Commercial use price could be recouped by the company as a tax loss on which could not be claimed by home users, so everyones a winner.
Thanks for giving us the oportunity of using this, and it them gives us a chance to comment, the feedback I hope could be of use in ensuring that this excellent product is available to more users in the way of becoming more affordable and cost effective, this would then give in turn more proffit to the company.
Best regards and prosperity.

We can't seem to get an answer about whether the 32-bit program folder is still required on 64-bit systems, but attempting to answer my own question, I temporarily removed it, and the 64-bit version still seems to run fine.

#85 the program uses lossless rotation whenever possible (check the Help file).

I'm hooked. And I haven't even explored half of what it can do.

I'm been using a 12 year old version of Fireworks for my photo processing. I downloaded GIMP the other day and what a mess that is.

This program is awesome. No problem installing it on Windows 7 Home Premium. Really going to have fun playing with it and finding out what it can do. Puts my 12 year old Fireworks to shame.

Thanks to the Zoner folks and GAOTD. Grab this while you can. It's a winner.

I downloadfed and installed after reading the many positive comments here (unusual to see so many).
All went well but I have two comments, first the one question that has been studiously ignored through the whole thread. Why desktop icons for Zoner Photo Studio 14 and Zoner Photo Studio 14x64? I'm using Windows7, which do I remove, and how?
Secondly, being new to this program I did a search for a tutorial and though there are a multitude of videos on Youtube it seems nothing from Zoner.
I know there is much info in the help files, but having a separate downloadable tutorial would mean it could be used while having the program screen open to view, specially by folk with more than one PC.
Finally, I'm impressed at how well Zoner tech support have come in so often to answer questions and issues, well done team!
Thanks GAOTD and Zoner.

Me again! I've just checked a few things and found that this is one of the programs I actually bought after using a previous GOTD version. It just goes to show that these giveaways DO generate sales! (I wish I'd been aware of this planned giveaway), however I do get the benefit of a few features lacking in today's giveaway. Something not mentioned here is that Zoner supports 8bf filters.

#103, Alicias, I don't use social media so I don't have accounts on those services, but I clicked on one other than Zonerama and Zoner tried hard to connect to the Internet via multiple paths (I kept doing "Block once" in my firewall). I don't know how it selects or allows you to select the account that it uses, but it would obviously expect you to have an account. Maybe someone else who has an account will respond.

#85,104, Peter Blaise, I'm not going to respond to your individual queries. Zoner will do or partly do much of what you want. I don't normally even use Zoner and I can clearly see much of what it does. Options that you get when a picture is selected are different than when no picture is selected. Study the menus, options, and help (there's a standard search feature). Most of your posts amount to, "Why wasn't Zoner written specifically for me, combining the features I've seen in other editors and tools?" Folders are so last-century. The modern method is tags, which Windows Search effectively does with not only tags, but almost all Properties, as well as filenames, paths, etc. It's way too complex for me to tell you how to use here, I've said a lot about it in the past.

#99, TopDog, Zoner not only displays the dimensions of the selected picture in panes on the left and right, but you can go into Settings and select to display them along with thumbnails, and/or in thumbnail tooltips (Zoner has a cool feature called Variable Text to display almost anything that you could want).

I did install this but as per the comment from Fubar (#13) and Springy (comment #54) since I was a bit concerned about this program taking over every possible type of picture file so I did a custom install and removed the check mark for the program to do so.

Anyway, is there any way to right click on a photo that I have downloaded (from my camera or elsewhere) and put into / onto my computer, then select open with and have that particular photo be opened with this program to work with it (like I would do if I wanted the picture opened up with something other than MS Office Picture Manager)?

Pretty new to all of this photo stuff but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the software!

This program downloaded, installed and ran with no problem whatsoever (thank you, thank you!).

As others have mentioned, it's very intuitive and also is far faster to use than the two pro software programs I use now ... and, in addition, it handles 'batches' quickly and with ease (no freezing part way through, especially important as all the images are 300dpi).

My sincere thanks to Zoner for this great give-a-way that is easy for both newbies and more experienced users - really do appreciate it.

And thanks again to our site!

One glitch that I have with the program is that the "Clone" tool does not work for me. On my Fuji S3 photo diode array is a piece of dirt that I can't seem to get rid of. When enlarging photos I have been using the "Clone" tool in either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements when this spot appears. The Studio 14 clone tool appears to have taken the color from one or two shades darker and covered the spot----actually making it worse. I tried moving the spot to be cloned but that didn't help. Any suggestions. This looks like a great program and an alternative to Photoshop Elements if I can get the clone tool to work.

okay, but since I love using plugins, I was delighted
this one was offered! Only one thing- most seemed to work,...
but not the Xero plugins (my favs) I'm not sure why?
Win 7-64 here,.. the Xero plugins work with some other prgs,...
like XNView,.... so not sure what the problem is,.. the windows
won't pop up for it but are fine with all the others.
Anyways,.. thanks for this version!! I'm pretty happy with it,..
plus the filters given with the prg. I have to play with this a bit more,....

I've just installed the software. The program looks good, although I haven't had a chance to use it. A few questions, though - there appear to be 2 versions on my desktop: "Zoner Photo Studio 14" & "Zoner Photo Studio 14 x64".

Do I need to keep both shortcuts? Do they take me to separate programs? My laptop is 64-bit, so is one program better than the other?

You can make this portable. Just install the software and then copy the folder that it was installed into to another computer. The software will run without problems. If you install the software on a 64bit computer you will have two folders, one the 32bit version and the other 64bit version. Go into the version you want to run and double click on Zps.exe.

This seems to work on all versions. I have use this software many times and I have found I fall back to it before I use PhotoShop Elements 9. To straighten photos and crop them this software is the fastest.

I never thought I would see the PRO version here. What a treat to see this and I thank GAOD and Zoner Software. Can't wait to see the next version of this software.
