I'm with #33 on this one. Either this thing is purposely too close to being viral in its operation, or corners were cut in the programming. Either way, it's gone.

I absolutely HATE that this program automatically adds itself to the right click folder options, including the trashbin. It conviently replaces the "empty recycle bin" option in the pecking order, so everytime I go to empty the recycle bin, instead I activate this stupid program. Don't know if the program is any good cuz I have uninstalled it because of it's unwanted reconfiguration of my recyle bin.

if the templates are groupable variants, then perhaps zoner can reduce the package size by converting the templates into assemblable modules?

Has some bugs as previously mentioned but my friend who has little PC experience is happy with it.

The comment regarding the software that comes with printers is good to know. I am getting ready to buy a new printer...will check what software comes with it. Thanks for the tip!

After installing this software I was looking through the selection of templates and found there are 2 templates (Birth - boy, and Birth - girl) in the Birth photos Categories, that have the word "arrived" spelled incorrect. just a note. :)

You can make slide shows in windows movie maker very easy. This offer is a good one and with other programs it is well worth having.

I downloaded the Zoner Photo Print, it downloaded like a dream. I was able to open it, no problems. However, I did find that the product was quite limited in what it was capable of. For $10, it is awesome when you don't have another program to use. I uninstalled this within 30 minutes. I so appreciate GOTD for giving me the opportunity to try out these amazing products, Thank you.

Great review by BladedThoth. Nost photo editing programs have functions for printing. I checked it out for the calendars. Quick and fun for that. Would love to find a good calendar or perhaps see one here to try.
If you want to produce/burn slideshows checkout http://download.videohelp.com/tin2tin/
Thanks GAOTD and ZONER!

I love software that has templates, since I like to print out my own Xmas cards with dd's photo. LivePix 2.0 was a fabulous program, that I've been using for I guess close to 6 years. Unfortunately, it had stopped being supported probably that many years ago. Still, it has a great Xmas template. so, I figured I'd try this product, since I can't seem to find anything that I like out there. The main thing that I don't like about this program is that it won't let me use photos from a folder other than C:\Documents and Settings\me\My Documents\My Pictures\. That's not where I keep my photo's and resent the fact that I cannot go elsewhere to get them. If you deselect all photo's, you cannot go further in the software. So, I selected one image, just to continue and test. The second issue I had was that if I didn't have the right number of images that I decided to "import", I couldn't simply go add them; I had to back up and go get them. Thirdly, it didn't have a high number of usable templates that would want me to keep this software on my pc. Oh well, worth a shot...

Thanks for the review Bladed Thoth. I was considering downloading but requiring all pictures to be in a single folder is a deal killer for me; as is the lack of manual cropping. But keep the reviews coming! I read every one before considering whether to download.

Downloaded and installed. Not bad. And the regular price isn't bad either. But 39 Meg just for the download! That's a bit too heavy for an app that just handles photo printing and a few other nice tricks.

I realize most of the heft is in the templates, etc. Maybe it would be better to make the templates a separate download to reduce the original installation footprint.

My 2 cents.

Installed fine on Vista and according to a message generated during the installation process it was registered. I was able to quickly create a calendar and a birthday-themed print. So it seems to work just fine. Echoing earlier comments, the program is very simple with few options. This makes it easy to use (and inexpensive), but it does mean you basically get what you see without much ability to get even a little creative. For example, when using the "crop" option, you don't have a way (that I could find) for adjusting the cropping. You get what the program decides to give you. Also, my pictures are in more than one folder. If you are using multiple pictures they all must come from the same folder, so I had to create a temporary folder and copy all of the photos I wanted to use to that folder before I could create my calendar. Finally, there seems to be at least one bug... the units of measure can not be changed from metric even though there is an option to do so.

Zoner makes some really nice software for graphics and they really try to keep it simple.

Simplicity is the main drawback I see here......there is litte room for creativity and none for editing your photos.

You have to have the picture ready for their templates by using another software program.

This is good for a quickie but if you want to personalize the output or if you need to resize, for instance, this is not the software you need.

5 on a scale of 1-10.

I just printed a calendar... this is a great little program - terrific offering for this season. Photo calendars make such nice stocking stuffers. Installation was simple and it's easy to run. Thanks.

After saving my project, I double clicked on it from My Programs to view it. That opened up an editor that said my 30 day trial was up, and it wold revert back to Xpress. (or something like that) Not sure what that means....... I do enjoy being able to choose the templates. Thanks!

Nothing overly spectacular about this program other than its PDF capabilities. I was hoping that the "Several Hundred Templets" was actually "Several Hundred Truly Different", not minor alteration templets but what the heck it's free. I'll add this to my other Zoner programs, which I often use. Thanks GAOTD and Zoner.

To #4, if you want to burn photo to DVD, you can use PhotoDVD maker, I always use it to make slideshow with birthday photos and then burn them to DVD disk. It plays well on my home DVD player.

OK, piece of software, but how many printer companies out there actually provide printer software with the purchase of new printers. I may have brought my printer 3 years ago, but it is a HP, Hewlett Packard 1600 all in one series and even though it cvost me $170 to buy brand new, the software it came with, the HP Director, Image Zone etc, is invaluable. It has proven to be the best printing software I could ever use. Also for $10.00 you can buy similar much more advanced printing programs from Ashampoo, with full yearly updates. I don't mean to knock this version, but it lacks a few things that you can get from other printer software programs that you can actually get for free. A bit boring for a give away, when there are so many free versions out there. You only need to look.
