"Clean your computer in minutes, no matter how badly infected!"

WOW That is one very bold statement.

QUESTiON #1: Are You offering or running any promotions for the product in conjunction with this GiVEAWAY, because I think I'd like to own such a good program.

----------

QUESTiON #2: Do you think it will clean up my infection?

Currently I have an infection that has been incurable so far

Verified and well known programs such as Java 7 and Java 8 update packages that end with ".exe" (for example Java "jre-8u101-windows-i586.exe") when I attempt to install an update on top of my existing Java version 7 with something later SUDDENLY up a POPUP window appears that reads "C:\Downloads\Java Updates\jre-8u101-windows-i586.exe is not a valid Win32 application".

So it appears that any program on my Vista SP2 32bit system on the computer BEFORE the date of infection the *.exe program will work.

I have even attempted to use the NiNiTE.com program updater service which works on all my relatives computers but NOT my computer that has this " ....exe is not a valid Win32 application" infection.

So I'm hoping ZEMANA will work where others have failed

Got it...!!
Took 2 tries to 'Activate' but no problems after that.
Did a 'Deep' scan (took 40 minutes to scan 280,000 files) with no problems found.
Now running "Real Time Protection".
Testing continues.....

I always love this on my Androids, tablet and phones and my computer. It is a must have to block any keyloggers that want to still your passwords, accounts, whether it be banking or social media or what ever. If you do not have it, get it now and you will wonder how you lived without it.

Easy Install and Activation on Win 10 Pro. The interface is decent with many options. Ran the deep scan, checked out the results and let it do it's thing. The whole process was completed in under an hour! It is a keeper for now. I normally just use the Win 10 Standard Defender and all is well for now!

Thanks for the GOTD.

Works perfectly on Win 10 Pro (64 bit) and after running a quick scan, which wasn't quick at all due to the amount of software I have on my machine and was surprised at the number of adware and malicious files it found, especially as I did a scan using Malwarebytes which is reckoned to be one of the better anti-malware programs. Very impressive and definitely a keeper. As for Malarebytes by subscription ends in a couple of weeks and won't be renewed. Thanks to GOTD and Zemana, I'll without any doubt be buying this when the trial period end after the generous 400 days. Can't wait to see what a full system scan reveals.

My operating system: Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 (build 7601)

Despite the mixed nature of the comments, I took a chance and downloaded and installed this offer.
Fortunately, my sixth sense had led me to run a System Restore before I started the install.
During the install, I had entered the key provided.
When I started the program, it crashed the system with a BSOD after a couple of seconds.
Automatic restart of the system; then a screen telling me my trial version was about to run out. Attempted to reach the Registration Server, both from within the program and by direct access (IE and Chrome); no luck, no connection.
So I tried running the program again -- it did now show I had 400 days remaining, but then, after two or three seconds, crashed again with the BSOD.
This program may be a fine program, possibly for users on another planet, but not for me. I will now try to uninstall it completely (with Revo Uninstaller), shut down and restart the system, and happily restore the system to the pristine state I am so fortunate to have preserved in the System Restore just mentioned.
I may add that in 2014 I also had Zemana Anti-Malware (Build 171) on my system, but encountered a number of inexplicable problems, and then uninstalled it, which made the problems disappear.
My urgent recommendation: CREATE A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PROGRAM!

Installed program (not the portable one)
Input reg key and waited about a minute. No go! (third time was a charm and it said activated for 400 days)
This AntiMalware program has a lot of great features, such as:
-Real time protection
-Lightweight on system resources (doesn't slow down PC performance)
-Ransomware Protection (this is an excellent feature to have)
-With its unique technology it increases zero day malware detection of suspicious files.
- In-house algorithms for zero false positives.

Thank you for this GOTD offer.

I installed portable version and it finally activated after the third try. Their servers are probably slammed with everyone trying to activate. After reading a couple comments that this isn't truly portable since you have to re-activate on a different computer and others having trouble with notifications, I might just do regular install. First, I'll see if I like it. Wish it truly was portable.

Probably overkill.

I tried this program as a free trial some 6 mos. ago (not from GOTD) and when the trial was over I decided I didn't want to pay for it so I uninstalled it (so I thought). It took FOREVER to get this thing off my computer (I used Revo uninstaller) but eventually had to go into the registry to get rid of it. I realize this is a freebie for a while but I'll pass thank you.

I also use RevoUninstaller Pro, but still find leftover entries in the registry. Since you sound like an advanced user, I suggest you download and run Regseeker, but be very careful to look over the keys that are found. You can download it here:

I attempted to install this on my PC, but was instructed to first remove Zemana anti-logger. Why would anti-logger conflict with this? Both are from the same developer, and anti-malware does NOT provide anti-logging protection. I will keep my anti-logger and not bother with anti-maleware! ridiculous that the two can't be insatted together.

chad , better for you to continue using Zemana AntiLogger sicne it contains all features like Zemana Antimalware plus anti-keylogging feature and spyware protection. Due to that both of these products can not be installed on one PC.

Last week I managed to get hit with the nasty malware, startgo123.com. I used AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and HitmanPro, but the malware still kept hijacking my web browser. I then used the free 30-day trial Zemana AntiMalware; it found some files and register entries that the others apparently had missed--no more browser hijacking! Thank you GAOTD for this 400-day license for such a useful program.

JonE, I just clicked on NO(t useful) on one comment and it wouldn't register my click at all. Then I clicked YES on another comment, and it immediately jumped from 6 yes to 10 yes. I've seen this happens for years, and even left a comment about it once, but it has never changed. Do you think GAOTD is legitimately set up to register correctly, or moderated in some way to register what GAOTD wants it to???

Reply   |   Comment by Anon  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-4)

The page loads up. There is a +4 score on a comment. While you are reading it someone else clicks Yes. This doesn't refresh on your screen so it still says +4 even though it is now +5. When you click No then the score refreshes, but it just seems to you that it stays at +4.
Or there could be +6, three people click on Yes, so when you click on Yes it updates the score to +10.

Reply   |   Comment by Jerry  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+25)

Jerry, You may be right in thinking that it could be a matter of page refresh and/or timing.

I just tested this using your comment, by refreshing this page several times to make sure it was "stable", and when it showed +13 for a few refreshes in a row, i quickly hit the NO and your comment went down by one from +13 to +12.

We can't know if there were other simultaneous votes that got tallied with mine, but I DID see the rating for your comment drop by one, so we know the system will count "no" votes on comments.
Have a good day, all!

I have been watching Give Away of the Day for 5 years and downloaded over a dozen programs. Some good some so-so, and some that I couldn't get to run. Reading the reviews I have to ask, why do so many people have trouble registering the software? If it's truly free just make it free without jumping through hoops.

Reply   |   Comment by John Henty  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+37)

John Henty,
I don't know why some people have problems, but I do know that GAoTD did need to make things harder to satisfy the companies donating the software. It use to be real easy to bypass the security. If you want reputable companies to even consider something like this you have to make sure that you are at least showing an effort to protect you from bigger (potential) loss.

krypteller, it's free... sorta. Companies are in business to sell their products, and GOTD is a great way to let people know of their products. They're not in the biz of just working on prog's and giving them away.

Reply   |   Comment by Jerry  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+8)

Mememe,
You can still download it to each PC one at a time, you just can't transfere it from one PC to the next. I have my desktop & laptop which I download programs or games from here all the time. I just do it from each computer on it's own and I've never had a problem downloading or installing for that reason anyway. Each download is completely seperate from each other, so there is no conflict.

The GAOTD page will pop up whether or not the installation is successful. If you can't find it in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Zemana AntiMalware\ZAM.exe" then you'll need to install it again. It took me two tries because my system tools that detect new programmes stopped part of it from running on the first try.

Reply   |   Comment by Jerry  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+7)

Reply   |   Comment by Barney Rubble  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+5)

G Zeven, Sometimes, but not this time: I just selected the option to allow the programme to run (or whatever the option was) and it was all fine on the second try. There was a period of maybe a few months where I did have to deactivate my AV to install GAOTD when they first started to use the .GCD file but it's generally fine these days.

Reply   |   Comment by Jerry  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

kefin111, Your antivirus needs to be temporarily inactivated for the GOTD software will download and install. Took weeks to figure out. If it is something I trust and really want, I disable the antivirus for 10 min and download. Everything works fine after that. Remember to re-activate your antivirus and run a scan just to be safe. Somehow most antivirus blocks the download process... I worry about that

Reply   |   Comment by check your antivirus  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

Jerry, it was just a hint/ tip, indeed sometimes, in my case with AVG anti virus always.
I then switch it off for 5 or 10 minutes and most of the time I switch it back on before that time is reached but if not AVG will switch on itself.
@ Cari, nothing absurds about that in my opinion as long as it is done only with a trusted source

..........................Moderator Comment................................

There's another Steam game available today (Monday 5th Sept) over on the Game Giveaway site called Glow Ball. That's four days in a row we've got games (at least some of the community). This is a first since March 2008 when the Gamegiveaway site went to weekends only :)

The game is limited to 50 licenses and you will need to jump through some hoops (i.e. Facebook, Twitter and join a Steam group). The offer runs for Five days and if you complete all tasks, you can get up to Fifteen entries in total. Seven on the first day and another Two each day until the offer ends on Saturday morning, (10th September 9am GMT).

If you don't like Steam you can also get this game via Desura (which is still trading despite the owners going bust last year). If you don't win a key, but the game still appeals to you, you can get it for £2.74 via Steam or £3.99 from Desura. You may get a Steam key via Desura as well, though not certain at this point.

Glow Ball is a billiard/pool like physics game with some devilishly designed levels. The majority of Steam users who have left reviews have given it a thumbs down, but I personally think, especially for the price, that it's actually quite a good game. The game gets harder as you progress. If you like Billiards and/or Pool with a neon like appearance, you may want to have a try at getting a free key. You can check my review over on the game giveawayoftheday pages HERE.

Sue,
Wow. That's a first. I truly hope that you're joking.

sue, Not sure what you mean? You get a Steam Game titled "Glow Ball", if you "Join & Win". Point your browser to the "Game Giveaway of the Day" site and you will find the offering there. Join (complete the listed tasks) and if you win you get a license for the Steam Game "Glow Ball".

Portable version a great idea, but it cannot / will not display "Notification Area Messages" or a Taskbar icon, so not sure if it will be active after a reboot?

Nigel,

Addendum, Cannot set scheduled scans either in the portable version and it wants to delete my firefox homepages. No way of telling it to leave them alone unless you go through each "finding" individually.

Conclusion - Not going to be of any use.

I installed at the last giveaway, excellent program. They respect your privacy not like other company's who demand too much personal information, who want to KNOW when you last went to the toilet etc etc, thanks Zenama & GOTD.

tommo, You think that by clicking through a Facebook share and download button that they don't already know when you last went to the toilet etc etc?
