When I get to the point of hitting the "Install" button, the setup actually asks me if I am sure I want to cancel the installation. I am trying to add this to a Windows 11 system.

A portable version of this would be nice. Any browser that remembers your login for certain site have your passwords them stored locally on your PC. If you have forgotten a stored password, you can retrieve it yourself from the browser's settings. This software claims to be able to retrieve them when store in more secure ways like encryption in back-up files.
Bottom line, you can get the info yourself. This would be a good tool for a mobile PC tech to have on a flash drive if it is somehow faster than the standard way to retrieve your browser's stored passwords.
**If you ever have to use a password retrieval program, change all of your passwords. Not just ones on that browser. Every password and credit card number on your PC will get found within a millisecond and who knows which companies get that info sent back to them.

It **may** be possible to use it portably. Most of the added registry entries concern the Caphyon installer -- the same goes for files added outside the program's folder. The catch is that activation is apparently tied to the device &/or that copy of Windows, so it has to be activated every time it's run for the 1st time on a different copy of Windows. That's not a problem today, but no idea if it'll work tomorrow -- it is a GOTD after all. Running & activating Browser Password Recovery Pro Basic Edition when it has not been installed adds a XenArmor registry key in HKCU FWIW.
