Love this converter! Definitely my favorite. Faster by a factor of 5 than any other converter I've tried. Three thumbs up!

Downloaded, installed, registered, and a bit confused
as in comparisonwith the other giveaway converters, conversion here is 3-5 times slower. Why ???

Another, more serious issue - screen recorder does not work !
Opening this option reveals system message informing that:
"... file rec-a64.dll seems incompatible with Windows or contains errors...
error status 0xc000035"
The recorder interface opens, and I can choose options and click "REC" button, but after 5 to 1 countdown the frame of the recorder appears with the time counter standing on 00.00 and nothing else happens. Pushing "Rec-STOP" of course cleans the recording frame, however there is no trace of the recorded file, because recorder does not start.

I suppose this is probably a library only for 64bit systems, while my Win10 is 32bit.
Strange, as the installation process was not disturbed and the other functions work.
Software reinstallation did not eliminate this bug.
Do you have any suggestion, how to make recorder work?.

Some really, really crazy voting going on here. Praise the software and it gets a negative review, while commenting on "readme" gets positive reviews.
How can some be totally ignorant or criticize to the fact that maybe, just maybe some folk suffer with "Word Blindness". I do and I sometimes struggle!

I downloaded, installed and registered the App following the instructions with no problems.
I tested the Trim (scissors) function for cutting parts of a video. This was very fast. When the operation was ready popped up a dialog window for accessing the resulting video and some additional information. The resulting video was very good.

The additional information was as follow:

"You Are Using the Giveaway Version Now!
The giveaway version is only for evaluation purpose, which has some limitations:
-Functional limitations.
-No free support.
-No free upgrade.
-Others"

I'm just wondering what the functional limitations are.
Anyone that knows something about that?

Again an outstanding program from WonderFox, however I' m somewhat confused about the WF offering. Maybe out of topic, but what are the differences between DVD Ripper Pro, DVD Ripper Platinum, HD Video Converter Factory and DVD Video Converter ?

Sean, clicking "Products" on the product page for today's GOTD shows DVD Ripper Pro, Video Watermark, HD Video Converter Factory Pro, & DVD Video Converter -- no DVD Ripper Platinum. DVD Ripper Pro & DVD Video Converter will copy the files on a retail video DVD and transcode [convert] the audio & video to another format, bypassing DRM as necessary, since you cannot copy those files otherwise. The DVD Video Converter adds features not included in DVD Ripper Pro. HD Video Converter Factory Pro has lots of features, but it Will Not do anything with a retail video DVD unless you've used other software to copy the files removing DRM in the process.

Thoroughly impressed with this software, after having been a paid user for a few years, now. I don't think it's ever crashed on me, and it makes good use of my Nvidia graphics card to speed-up the video conversions and handles H.265 conversions well. I use it on a weekly basis, and it's saved me untold drive space on my NAS, allowing me to convert downloads and/or strip away unwanted add-ons The author has consistently been responsive to questions and regularly updates the program. Still glad I purchased the software after all these years. The only want remaining on my wish-list; is frame-accurate editing. Thankfully, that's not a commonly needed feature for me.
