I did download & installed this software successsfully on Jan 1 on Vista Home Prem., X64.

I ran it watching and reading the stuff that suggested to Delete. Fine so for. But then I noticed that this proggie will Not allow my Firewall (Comodo) to start-up on reboot ... plus few more unwanted Actions on "Wise Care 365 Pro" part and I decided that it is time to REMOVE it.

I uninstalled the Wise Care 365 Pro on 01/03/14 and ran Full virus Scan and Defragged my HD ... I am now back to Normal.

G!:)

I downloaded and installed this without incident. I ran it and it gave me back 30gb of additional free space after the it deleted junk files from my computer! YES 30GB, not 30MB! Well worth it! Would definitely recommend!

Ran Wise Care 2013. Now my computer doesn't load websites properly anymore and is noticeably slower. System Restore no longer works.
This software has ruined my system and is full of bugs.

The 'PC Health' reading is interesting on this program. It read 9.0 when I first checked after installing. Now, having used the program for a couple of days, I can't get it to register above 8.2 before the check, and 8.3 after.

@mardel (#20): Why did you install a GAOTD-version if you`ve got a life-time license? Doesn`t that license include updates? Or is there any hidden advantage in getting neither support nor updates (aka GAOTD restrictions)?

Well, I was hoping the "context menu" editor would be useful, but it is not. It only allows you to remove entries placed there by third party applications...it does NOT allow removal of items that are native to Windows. -- Contrary to what others have said above, it installs with English as default. -- It should also be noted that all of the functions in the utilities section (except one) are not included in the install pak....while they ARE free, they must be downloaded individually.

Well, it managed to do a comprehensive defrag in reasonable time, along with a few other bits and pieces. Beware, though, of cleaning up your Internet history - it might just remove all images and formatting from every one of your usual haunts! It even removed its own image from the GOTD advert, and that didn't come back after two Refreshes.

Interesting that it seems to be so shy of seeing its own face in the mirror. Still - I'll wait and see what happens after a couple of shutdowns and restarts.

@ #45 Patrick....Adobe flash player has nothing to do with basic "still" images on web sites (unless they're part of a slide show)...flash player handles videos, slide shows, animations etc...basically, images that move. --- If you have this problem only with FF, open the options dialog...go to "content" and check "Load images automatically"

I installed this on a Windows XP SP3 system. It installed fine. So I ran this utility and had it do a complete system clean-up. It completed its task ok. Then the trouble started. It cleaned my system a little too well. IT DELETED ALL OF MY WINDOWS FILE ASSOCIATIONS. Now I have a problem, and I don't know how to fix this except through A LOT of work. I'm NOT happy. My advice to you is stay clear of this little utility. One other thing. The first time I posted this review Giveawayoftheday deleted it. If they delete this review again then there is a nasty stinking rat afoot. I'll then make the exposure of this rat public in any way I can. Capiche?

I cannot comment on Wise Care 365 PRO specifically, but BEWARE. Any of these tools that do things automatically can be dangerous. Even if you "forbid" any part of them from running at startup, they may insert processes in the registry that load at startup. Here are comments I've kept on three that I uninstalled:

IObit/Advances System Care Pro 5.1:
Even though I kept it out of startup, it ran routines anyway, freezing/slowing computer and filling up GoBack partition so GoBack wouldn't go back. Don't know what other damage it did. I RevoPro uninstalled it.

Iolo/System Mechanic 10.7:
I don't recall why, but I initially disabled it, and later RevoPro uninstalled it, but didn't uninstall everything, so I mnually uninstalled it.

TuneUp Utilities: Started running utilities on its own including registry cleaner and defrag.

Installed and activated without a hitch on XPsp3. I have tried several programs of this type, but still found this one worth keeping as it is not only faster and removes far more unnecessary files than others with detailed cleaning options, but also performs an analysis which is in some ways more thorough. For example, the computer upon which it is being tested suffers from a very slow boot. Wise Care recommended:
• Optimize prefetch parameters to improve Windows startup speed
• Enable optimization function to improve Windows startup speed
• Reduce "check disk" time to improve Windows startup speed
• Prevent IDE channel checking to improve the Windows startup speed.
None of the other utility programs made similar suggestions.

Thxs for the Get set of Utilities ,this IMHO is one of the better ones. I've been using portable versions of utilities within this program for years with very few hassles on varied OS | machines .
As others have mentioned it's self portable . Just a note update your utilities before using the portable option if you want them included (little arrows next to the Utility icons in the installed version).
Happy New Year to all.

I LOVE this program. THANS SO MUCH TO GAOTD! I have 4 computers and hae tried programs similar to this one in the past but this one works GREAT on all 4 computers. It doesn't break anything. It is straight forward. I LOVE IT! Most of these programs tell you they found 500 problems, then offer to fix them. Then when you opt to fix them the programs give you a WARNING that fixing the problems may break your computer!?! Then ask if you're sure you want to fix your computer!?! I mean what's up with that? Thanks again GAOTD and Happy 2013.

Installed no problem, but like a couple of other users after running the cleaner and fixing "problems" I had trouble loading some web pages correctly in my browser(Firefox latest version) including my gmail page even after using the restore feature within the programme. I rebooted my computer to see if that fixed the problem and it did. Not wishing to tempt fate Wise Care 365 pro has been uninstalled.

Hello,
Thank you WiseCare and GAOTD for making this software available. Below I will detail my first impressions. WiseCare 360 will be compared to what I use regularly to maintain my computer, TuneUp Utilities 2012. TuneUp Utilities maintains my computer in the background, without any additional work on my part. It has kept my computer from becoming decrepit with all the junk Windows leaves around.
Upon running WiseCare 360 (the installation was extremely smooth), I was greeted with the helpful introduction slideshow. It gave me an overview of all the features so I felt comfortable and sure that I knew my way around. The scan, as other commenters noted, was exceedingly fast compared to similar utilities. It finished a scan of my computer in 45 seconds and found over 5GB of junk files! This is on a computer that has cleanups regularly run on it. I am impressed!
I will seriously consider purchasing WiseCare 360 instead of TuneUp Utilities 2013. Thanks again!

@50 see @2 after installation you can makes a portable version it is stored as a zip file
Installed on xp and especially the system tuning worked nice.
Installation custom allows to prevent installation of startup and taskbar option. Language could be selected as english the program proposed dutch.

Negative:
- changes in the advanced settings are immediately and can not be restored to the previous state. Some settings could not be reversed e.g. junctions settings when deactivated can not be set to activated again.

The problem with this software is that it doesn't show you what kind of changes it will do to your system and what files will be deleted.

Well, it seems like BitDefender Total Security won't allow install of this optimizer ? Off course, it's a false positive, but considered how many users BitDefender have, it's a shame, this giveaway don't work for them. Perhaps the developers should get together and resolve this issue, before Wise Care 365 PRO get themselves a bad rep. Thanx in advance for trying to fix this issue. Happy New Year to the team GAOTD, developers and not least users of the site - from Denmark :)

Wow - this program kicks butt! I was able to eliminate over 3.5 GB of stuff I don't ever use, including MS translation packs (I never visit Chinese or Japanese websites). I had run CCleaner before just to see (it found 875 MB of junk), so I was surprised that todays program found so much more.

It runs very fast on my Win 7 64x OS, and was pleased that it offered system restore & registry backup options. It also gave me HD choice options as I have several external HD's.

My install was in English (which worked well for me), and I had no registration or other hassles. Plus, this program is FAST! I fired up Chrome and the gained speed and internet access was VERY noticeable.

IMO this is an excellent program for a non-techie guru like myself. Speed and safety and free - what more could you ask for?

Click START, Click CONTROL PANEL, Double Click ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS, Double Click SERVICES. If remote desktop is disabled, enable it. Hope this helps. Happy New Year to all!!!

I'm pretty sceptical of these cleaning programs, but I was bored today so I first made a system restore point and then installed Wise (no problems on Win7 x64). In short, I used all of the cleaning utilities offered (including the Registry) and let the program do its thing. Then I rebooted twice (just in case) and started all of my most important programs and didn't get any errors.
I haven't really noticed a speed increase (that can be very subjective) but it did get rid of a load of stuff--especially Windows goodies--which had been sitting there uselessly since Windows was installed on this laptop, and which I didn't even know was there. thumbs up from me.

registry cleans really don't do any good, and don't fix any problems. They just save tiny amounts of disk space. How about registry defrag? is that a good idea?

I've been using Wise Care on 2 laptops for over a year! It's an awesome program, as a matter of fact I just purchased the pro version while it's on it's 50% off sale. I also used Advanced System Care, together along with MalwareBytes they keep my computer running well! Just goes to show that the giveaway program works, I got it here for free, used it for a year and ended up purchasing it because I liked it so much. Incidentally, same thing with Advanced System Care, got it here for free and ended up buying it.

Reviewing the comments so far I miss all the usual warnings about not using those dangerous reg. cleaners. Well, I've been using Wise's reg cleaner for quite some time, and compared to the rest for me this one is the best: it's not too aggressive, nor too 'timid' (like CCleaner). It also lets you review the changes to be made ( an absolute necessity !! ). The rest of this suite makes some other programs obsolete, though I keep my MyDefrag... Still - the freeware version of this program is, I'd say, about 95% identical to this paid offering. The extra's in the paid version are mostly extraneous. ( So if you're reading this the-day-after or are unlucky and loose the GAOTD-version: just get the freeware edition.. )
