The program installed okay and activated okay. However a simple download test of a music clip from YouTube fails repeatedly. It asks you to click to Analyze the URL, then it wants to upgrade the Download engine, and following that leads to the complete version upgrade option to v4,1 which won't be included per the terms. SO a strikeout on that aspect of the program.

2 SAMSUNG 990 PRO nvme´s + several SSDS

You do need a powerful rig to run this program efficiently.

I tested a 29 second 1080p 60fps (not complex or high motion) video file from a sony alpha camera. Up-scaled to 4K HEVC. took about 11 minutes. Really IMPRESSIVE result. I can´t see any AI artifacts or smoothing or weirdness.

Then I tried a 1280 X 720 compressed photo with "real world stuff" and text from a really thin font.

The image and the text enlarged to 2K looks great. 4K and 8K the text gets a little distorted.

The actual image enlarged to 4k looks quite good and at 8K I can notice some AI smoothing and weirdness, but it´s not unsettling. the casual eye will probably not catch it.

really great app. A keeper for me.

Just downloaded the software without any problems. Registration went smooth. Quickly enhanced a couple of photos. Results are truly amazing. Just what I was waiting for. Don't have to go to online services anymore. Thank you Mr. Winxvideo! I will further explore and probably purchase the upgrade later on.

I misread the description. I had the impression that it is a f automatically installed to the C: drive. I really hate it when programs do that!

Downloaded and tried to register, get an error message, "Attention: Host reg1.datacenter-digiarty.com not found" so I cannot register the software. Any help on registering?

Tested the photo option because it's quicker -- obviously takes less time than processing a video. Winxvideo AI 3.0 does work, and is the 1st *general purpose* AI tool I've tested that does. But there's a problem... without resizing, a 4MB jpg image is reduced to <1MB at the 100% quality setting. For the web or emails that might be OK, but it's definitely losing detail when 1/4 of the data goes missing. I had to go into the Properties -> Compatibility -> Change high DPI settings -> High DPI scaling Override & set it to System for Winxvideo AI.exe. And it annoyingly does the AI inference for X2 upscaling as soon as I import an image, so I have to wait until it's done, select the button for image enhancement instead, then go through the inference again. It does max out my lowly RX 6600 graphics card, but it's a bit slower than Topaz AI Denoise, P/Shop's AI, & Luminar Neo's AI.

Installing Winxvideo AI.exe adds the program's folder in Program Files (x86) along with a foler in Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Roaming\. Empty folders are also added to Music, Pictures, & Video. The only new registry entry I monitored was a key with the path to the app.

I wanted to try this for the to colorize black-and-white photos, but I don't see that ability in the program.

In case some would like to try it. First, be aware that it takes a fairly sturdy machine to run it! Second, it's very basic and doesn't offer any of the AI tools out there. I've tried more than a dozen "free to try" online image AI, and most did a better job handling images (I didn't try videos yet), than Winxvideo AI. All and all, it's an okay tool to try your hands on AI, but choices are very limited. The models it download are also quite small (about 40MB), and you can't chose to download other free ones (check on Github). My next tests would be on videos. If it's not better than images, then I'll install it, since every week more AI tools are being offered for free. And if you're thinking, "Yeah, but my personal stuff remains on my computer, and not openly available online." Well, I can say that if you have a sturdy computer (minimum 32GB RAM and a 16GB GPU video card), then your best bet is to install your own local LLMs which will do more than images!
Overall, I give it a 2.5 stars out of 5.

When I click on "About" in the upper right corner of the Home icon, I see that the program has already been registered, even though I haven't entered the license provided in the registration link. I previously had a version of WinX HD Video Converter from GiveAwayOfTheDay, but I uninstalled it because it was no longer active.

You can only register this product once.
Install on a VM for testing, then install on a PC and licensing fails with error code 1.
Not exactly an informative error.

I have the 4.1 version. Excellent program, but you must have a powerful PC (mine is 16gig ram, Intel i5 8th generation). To work properly you MUST have:

1. General GPU Requirements:

• APIs for GPU Computing: Vulkan ≥ 1.2.x, OpenCL ≥ 1.0.

• NVIDIA: Quadro 410 or higher, GeForce GT 630 or higher, GeForce GTX645 or higher

• Intel: Intel® UHD Graphics 620 (WHL GT2) or higher, Graphics 510 or higher.

• AMD: AMD Radeon RX550 series or higher.

I have Intel UHD Graphics 620...And it is NOT powerful enough for videos! It did a very noticeable improvement on the video I was working on, but at the lowest settings it took 12hrs to produce a 10 min video. I use it now for images, and WOW it does an excellent job!

So far tried 3 functions out of 5: Image AI, Downloader and Video Converter. I will keep giving it a go, but for now here are my observations:

Pros:
- You can select where on your computer to install the program;
- Images: removes noise and sharpens blurry details very well while enlarges the image.
- Video converter works well, simple to use and has several useful features other simple convertors don't.

Cons:

Installation: option to select a different folder is not obvious and I was specifically looking for it. Should be made more noticeable or maybe even a part of installation dialog;

Download: - does not work
- prepopulates URL with something irrelevant
- error message: "A program update is needed for the new downloader engine. Please click "Update" to download the newest version [...]"
Obviously, the newest version is not free and the current version does not work.

Image AI:
- text in the images gets sharper but the letters lose shape, become distorted - inevitable for current AI, I guess;
- on uploading image automatically starts generating preview before I selected any options and it takes long time - waste of time
- popups lack Cancel button, there is only 'Start'. You can either go ahead or delete the image and start all over from scratch. Why bother with a popup at all if there is no choice and only one button to go ahead? Very frustrating

It comes already with the licence activated, no need to add the key/licence number. The About page says 'Giveawayoftheday' licence and has my email address.
--BUT when I closed and restarted the program (on Windows 7) I got a 'trial version' prompt window/dialogue box when it restarted and so I then entered the key and my email address. Now there is no such prompt on a restart, Anyway, thank you, Digiarty.
