Digiarty Support Team,

I tired to leave an idea above for improvement; even registered thinking that it's a prerequisite to post. Apparently I registered idea.informer.com, and my idea was not posted.

My idea, ensure all remnants are truly deleted to free up one's iDevice(s) valuable "HD space." Please disregard if this product addresses my idea. Left comment discussing this. *

Thank you.

Tex

First off, thank you Digiarty Software and GOTD! Long time user of the GOTD opportunities, and a grateful person of past Digiarty Software give-a-ways via this website.

Question to Digiarty and or someone with knowledge to my question. I see that the product description touts freeing up the space of one's iDevice(s). It has been my past experience that "HD space" within an iPhone is not fully recovered when deleting photos, videos, or other types of files. Remnants remain even though one's device acknowledges the deletion of said files. It took me awhile to find a solution to this problem via a particular software product. It would be nice to use this software as an all in one with confidence.

Can you please respond and advise on this aspect of the product? Fortunately my iPhone is fairly cleaned with plenty of "HD space," so I am unable to test this portion of the software at the present moment.

If the software being given out today does not support this important aspect, I'd like to recommend it as an idea. I will post it as an idea above with an asterisk... wouldn't mind a free license for life for a great product. :)

Best,

Tex

Kai,

Please click "Register" in the lower right corner of the main interface, then a popup window will show up automatically to lead you enter license code. Just enter the license code, and click "Activate" button to activate it.

Thanks for this nice freebie...Program downloaded, installed and registered without issue. It connects to my iPhone6 well (using iOS 9.2.1). I was able to transfer photos to my computer.
Honestly, 5GB of iCloud storage just isn't enough. I'm always struggling with it and have to turn off the icloud photo library to free up space.
This offering from GOTD is just what I needed:)

I can´t register this. By now I don´t own any Iphone etc., but maybe I will buy one, soon. So I installed this program to have it. But after installing when I open this program it wants me to plug in a divice. Like I said, I don´t have any at this moment I can´t find a way to register it. The only option on that window is to minimize it or to close it, but no way to open the register window. Any idea friends? Thanks in advance.

Tried to install several times. "Failed to Connect". This is on Windows 8.1
This happens always in XP. Now in Win8.1 too?!

S!ick, anything related to accessing an iPhone from a computer requires iTunes as that provides the drivers. You could extract the iTunes install file and try installing just AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464.exe

I get the same result as AnAceBuyer on my IPad2. Ponch says you get to find out 5 and above is supported after complete install, which apparently doesn't happen until the device is connected. I would have appreciated a notice in the system requirements not to waste my time because my device wasn't supported.

Attracted by its fast speed slogan, I installed it and activated. Before I used some of iPhone management software, each one said they were fast, but none of them satisfied me. Winx mediatrans does surprise me with its transfer speed. With Intel Core i5 4GB RAM and 3.00GHz Windows 7 PC, I can transfer 100 pics (each above 2.5M) from my iPhone6 (iOS 9.3.1) to PC in only 10 seconds.
And it is quite easy to transfer files too. Happy about it, thank you, gotd.

I am having the same result as AnAceBuyer, with my iPad 2. Ponch said you only get to find out this only supports iPhone 5 and up after a complete install, we are not getting the complete install... the animated window just keeps telling me to plug in my iPad, then unplug it and plug it in again. A heads up in the system requirements would have been helpful, or a popup saying that my device was not going to work.

This giveaway is just in time. Shot so many 4K photos after a vacation to Madrid, my iPhone storage is almost full. I tried it to transfer photos from my iPhone 6S to pc, incredibly easy and fast. Plus, it surprises me by auto converting UHD, HD videos to MP4, no need of third-party converters. This feature is really sweet when you want to watch a movie on the flight or train of vacation.
Overall impression: fast, light, easy-to-use

Windows 10 - installed with no problem
iTunes (or comparable) does need to be installed (and device has to be plugged in) to register WinX MediaTrans 2.0.

I loved the interface so much, I went ahead and bought it without much thought. This was as much to do with the very solid other products I have bought from Digiarty in the past as for the very nice inteface for this product.

How do you change the default directories for the various media types - photo, music, and video? I can copy the paths out, but I don't see how to change them to other locations on my machine (local or mapped directories).

For the photos, can you drag and drop the photos in the Camera Roll into other albums? This is a feature that I would like to see within the iOS directly, but either haven't figured out how, or have not found an app that will do this. It would also be nice to be able to create new albums so that you can sort out the photos, leaving everything on your iDevice. When looking at the photos, can you keep a default grouping by album? i.e. Camera Roll as "None" , but a vacation album by "Day"?

I would like to see more drag and drop of files to be sync'd to the iDevice, especially in the music area - drop artist or albums into the interface, and it automatically pulls up the songs that are within the directory structure.

I am curious about the Video section, specifically the Movies - how do you get a movie into this area to then sync to the iDevice? TV Show has a "Add Video" link, but not the Movies.

Thanks for what looks like a solid product that just needs a few little tweaks to be awesome!

Russ,

You can drag and drop videos, photos, music to your traget folder, instead of default path.

Sean,

I 'm trying to figure out how to drag and drop things from my PC (Movies, music, etc) to the iPhone. I can't get Movies to to even offer the "Add Video" option at all. It's there for "TV Show" though.

I'm looking for easy ways to get stuff ON my iphone.

I seldom write reviews. But this time I would give WinX MediaTrans a "Like". It's very intuitive to use. To transfer my PC music to iPhone, I just need find the music folder and then click "sync" and then the music appears on my iPhone "Music". Can't believe this process can be done in such a simple way! The transferring speed is also pleasing. Thanks , GOTD and Digiarty.

This is probably a great program but you need to have iTunes for it to work. Bummer!!!

An alternative is to install "CopyTrans Manager" program which doesn't require iTunes and it's FREE from

You can also download their FREE "CopyTrans Shelbee" program for iPhone backup and restore without iTunes.

Installed on Win 7 64U. No issues registering on the very busy page referred to in the instructions and which comes up automatically anyway. Note that setup will d/o and install .NET 4.5 so those who are allergic to this - you're warned.

Programme opens up to a tiled UI. Easy to navigate and use. Other than a rather comical mixup of labeling a Sons of Anarchy TV episode 'Skeptoid', it identified the contents of the iPhone perfectly.

Second note: to use this successfully you must disable auto synching from iTunes. The instructions are clear how to do this and why. Consider this a better UI for iTunes.

I've got free copies of WinX's program here in the past and they are helpful. But haven't heard of WinX MediaTrans. Looks like it's a new app released by Digiarty?

Well, it installed with no problem. Note that iPhone cable is required to transfer video to iPhone. I grabbed a 1:22 hour MP4 and it only took approximately 1 min. syncing the source video to my iPhone (6th-gen iOS 9.3.2). Then i gave a shot with a different format - AVI. More than video transfer, it supports converting AVI to iPhone compatible file without using any other converters. Good enough for me. Thanks GAOTD & Digiarty for today's offer:p

Guess I am a slow learner. After temporarily disabling the antivirus, this software appears to install correctly. It launches, but waits for an iPhone to be installed first, so there is no way to enter the license key unless it recognizes a device. However, in my Win10 x64 Home OS, this software simply is not recognizing the iPhone 4s upon connection. Win 10 recognizes it, though, and handily opens the files on the iPhone, but not this MediaTrans software. Any suggestions?

Upon complete install, a message listed at the bottom lists devices iPhone 5 and higher.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ponch, but that does not happen with my system. MediaTrans launches without objection only if I start it manually, and it displays an animated screen with an iDevice and PC and a moving cable, along with instructions to "Please plug in an iPhone/iPad" I have tried several of my iDevices, to no avail. I also tried turning off AVG and Windows firewall, to no avail. In all cases, Win10 recognizes when I attach an iDevice, offering the usual menu of choices to open the device (and, by the way, MediaTrans is NOT one of the offered options). iTunes does not launch when my iPhone is connected, and even if it did, I deactivated AutoSync in iTunes long ago. Is a reboot required by this software? No such notice was offered by the software or installation instructions. Could the firewall be bl
