Yeah I had a hunch so asked here. I have updated my facebook contact details but this widget still has my old email id listed while I participated in past weekly giveaways. That email was a temporary startmail trial account & does not exist anymore. This competition widget has my twitter & facebook profiles as logged in.
I found no way to update my email in the current competition widget & even though facebook primary contact was updated, this widget still showed no change. Any way I can contact to tell them or update my contact mail id? Cheers

Have been using Windscribe for almost a year, last giveaway was for 60GB a month. Speeds were adequate, of course the server being used has a roll to play. As I recall they are a Canadian company with good terms of service and global servers.
Oh Joshua U R da MAN that is a BRiLLiANT (1-stop) comparison website and it's currently showing 182 VPN sites and basic comparisons.
At first, I was a little bit wary of trying an unknown website but I'm oh so glad I did
These 3 colours: Green = “Generally good” Yellow = “Something of concern” Red = “Something major of concern”.
are enough information for me at first glance and then I picked at few I knew of and some I'd never heard of, to look at in more depth.
I know some VPN providers use Kill Switches and others don't and some people like Kill Switches some don't.
Perhaps it would be good to know comparisons of Ad-Blocking, Malware protection,DNS info, etc. but as a starting point ThatOnePrivacySite is a really good beginning.
I had been using the free version. Love it!
Just do it!
1. Install Chrome extension "Windscribe"
2. Click 'Upgrade', then under the info box, click 'Have a Promo Code?'
3. Enter 50GBFREE and get 50GB per month with your free account instead of the standard 10!
Couldn't be easier!
Thanks for the extra bandwidth, Windscribe!
When trying to create an account, I made 6 different email addresses with my spamex account and every single one of them has been responded to with "Awww! This username is taken." This is impossible. Spamex would not have let me create those user names otherwise. No free 50GB I guess?
I am currently paying for a VPN from a different publisher (PIA) , It looks like its time to compare. Speed as well as privacy is very important. Windscribe is 15-16 months old, has a few bad posts on their facebook page about slow speeds aswell bad customer/tech support.
I purchased a subscription to Windscribe this year. It is not that bad. It actually places an access icon in your Firefox browser that you can click to mask your IP (get a new one). I prefer PIA, but this is a good secondary VPN. The price is right, as well.
Windscribe installs its own protocol driver, so be warned of that, but it is safe. Be sure that ANY VPN you get (I have 4 of them) allows you to change IPs at will. I have yet to find a VPN that actually SCHEDULES an IP change at increments. If I could find one that does, I would need nothing else (HEAR THAT WINDSCRIBE???). Scheduling incremental IP address changes every 5 to 60 minutes, prevents tracking by the NSA. You are bouncing all over the place, from one server to another. The majority, if not all, VPNS make you manually change the VPN server you are on. THAT IS SIMPLY AWFUL. Also, if you have Firefox, get an IP viewer as an add-on. I use "Realtime IP Check 1.0.5" available at Firefox ADD-ONS web page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/realtime-ip-check/?src=search
This addon periodically checks your IP address and displays it at the top of your browser.
Windscribe is a great starter VPN. It does have limited servers in the paid version and does not allow you to pick a CITY like most of the other VPNs do, but it is worthwhile and a secure alternative.
TomSJr, must be dns or ip leak if your original ip is sometimes being displayed. try ip2location or whatismyip to confirm this issue. if windscribe has killswitch like ivacy does, your connection will drop in case the vpn disconnects so there are fewer chances of ip2locationrevealing the true ip
RCory, I already have a 50 GB/month free plan from a different giveaway and I like the service. Of course, I'd like it more if I had the unlimited plan though ^_^

CardcaptorRLH85,
I see that you like the Windscribe service - good to hear as I myself am going to sign up in a few hours time.
May I respectfully suggest that you go and look on "StackSocial" or one of its agents like 'BitsDuJour.StackSocial.c0m', because I know You will find VPN providers selling genuine UnLimited VPN Deals and if you look 'real hard' (not :)) You just may see the one you said you "liked the service" at well over '90% off' the price that the VPN provider itself wants you to pay for an Unlimited VPN account [which includes the following Length of access: lifetime | Updates included | Unlimited data | Unlimited devices |]
In case you're thinking: I have NO affiliation with the websites I've suggested you look at (to find hugely discounted deals) apart from buying offerings posted on their websites. SO I'm not going to earn a cent from telling you this vague referral. The reason for being so vague and not supplying direct URL's is because i do not want to contravene any GiveawayOfTheDay rules. For less than $50 USD you'll be mightily happy for did a search for these drastically discounted VPN deals.
I am currently looking for a new VPN Provider so your trial offer on GiveawayOfTheDay is very fortuitous in my opinion, and I hope you don't mind but i'd like to ask you 3 questions.

I currently use VPN Unlimited by KeepSolid, but they do not use a KillSwitch when the connection is lost, and only in the last 2 months provided a No Ads Malware Protection as well as DNS
PLUS a Very LiMITED & CONFUSiNG DEViCES POLiCY - for example the DEViCE is NOT the Computer but the web browser. So if You are using Firefox, Chrome & internet Explorer all at the same time those 3 connections add up too 60% of the User Devices LiMiT.
Question #1: Does Windscribe VPN use a KillSwitch?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Question #2: Does Windscribe VPN have more than one server address available in New Zealand and Australia?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I did read a year or two back that some VPN providers make great claim that they keep no user URL records - other than User Log-On and Log-Off records. I cherish my privacy and I'm very dubious about Big-Brother's desire to snoop on everything I buy or do, but personally I think that, that type of VPN provider leaves themselves open to abuse from those with less-than-honest (or even criminal) intentions.
Question #3: Apart from Log-On and Log-Off records, is Windscribe VPN a No-Records (virtually anonymous?) VPN Provider?
Thanks for the giveaway "Windscribe is a 2-in 1 privacy solution that helps me to browse the Internet anonymously, protects my online privacy, unblocks websites, and removes ads". Windscribe VPN is best VPN!

Google them for great Youtube tutorials on setup. Also, regularly check their website and Facebook page for software updates.
