At first there is a lovely help file and introduction when you instal.
When I open the programme, the help file disappears and there is no way to access it again.
Also the select button produces a cross but does not select.
Third, while other things seem to work, you cannot get out of anything,
or clear the surrounding selection mark (which comes from something else, not from select)..
There is no undo button.
Can we please have answers from the developer, especially how to get back to the help and information and tutorial screens.

Why does todays 3.6.5.6 giveaway report version 3.6.5.4 in the About window? As does the previous giveaway 3.6.5.5 giveaway report 3.6.5.4 in its About window! Also Splash.exe that gives us the choice of editor or converter activity states "WinPDFEditor Version 2" it's about time the developer loaded the source code and did some work and made it reflect the CURRENT major version number at least!
Note that the build of installer you can download from the vendors website will not accept the giveaway license code. The giveaway installer is a special build just for the giveaway to deal with the giveaway license code. BUT I just noticed that once I had applied the giveaway license using the giveaway build the standard downloadable build accepted the saved registration data... so it may be just the input hashing and validation that is different but the storage hashing is the same... That is just educated speculation and your mileage may vary. It does raise the possibility that the standard build from their site may not have the license expiration code like the giveaway build does have. And apparently no internet aceess was made to validate the license code. So it's possible that the sloppy dev procedures *may* work in our favour, assuming there is no ugly bug or security flaw in the PDF document parsing due to same sloppy procedures.

What is new in 3.6.5.6 compared to last giveaway of 3.6.5.5? As 3.6.5.5 apears to be non-expiring I've wound the date forward two years and no complaints and no attempts to access the internet to check the license validity... If you have 3.6.5.5 and might have any future use for it but want to try 3.6.5.6 I suggest you attempt to install this in an adjacent folder and not over the top as the chances are the only significant change is the expiring license they added for this giveaway!

The page https://www.winpdfeditor.com/register.html makes NO mention of any expiration terms on registration... so either it's a bait and switch where you pay to register but find it's only an expiring license or this is a non-commercial license givenaway expiring just for us to abuse giveawayoftheday.com project and all the visitors by not providing a full commercial license we could otherwise buy. Either way this is Not the type of business I would ever choose to associate with.

Could you be a bit more explicit please. What exactly is it that you have managed to do with this tool? Most PDF editors fall short of editing funstionallity. Is this one actually a true editor?

It is not real the PDF editor. It does not allow to edit existing text but it looks like it adds the overlay over the original pages and it allows to do basic operations withe the pages - delating, rotating etc. In the background the freeware software is used like pdftk , ghostscript.

Artur Babecki, So what you are saying is that if you save an "edited" PDF file into a new PDF file, it saves both the original text and the overlay(s)? If that's the case, I have to ask myself why bother installing this faux editor instead of a real editor that truly deletes unwanted content?
