Create professional web animations in HTML5. WebAnimator Plus makes it easy and quick to create animations to add to your website and online store. It includes a built-in editor for writing your own code, if you wish. If you can imagine it, you can do it!
The Home edition is too basic, I will use OpenElement (openelement.com) instead, totally free, Drag and Drop, WYSIWYG or coding if you want ... easy and with lots of free Templates. If you are really a beginner and only want a cute web site for yourself or to promote a small job I will use Wix Free then you don't have to use FTP software.
If you are a strong professional or want to be one you have lots of choices.

I gave this a run yesterday, didn't have time to feedback.
This program reminds me of net objects fusion. I used to do several websites with custom created templates. back then I remember going from NOF4 to NOF5 and the controversy of the new interface. Now while it's true there's a lot of metadata to enter to get a proper running website, I find that I just want to create art and not think about it, see what it looks like and then go back and detail each page out. Anyway, I know I wasn't upgrading to a NOF6 or 7 or whatever the next version was, cause to be frank I was happy back at the more friendly lower version number.
FOR ME... this program suffers from a similar fate.
at too it the easy availability of scripting languages with a lamp server and this becomes outdated for most except perhaps someone making a static documentary,
A further dual edged sword creeps in when you consider many people today are trying to NOT have their application dial home, and yet the application "arguably needing to check for an update." It's a conflict, and people should not have to explain themselves. But flying in the face, there's an arrogance out there. I only suggest that perhaps you don't embrace that arrogance.
My advice
Don't be a mobile phone company.
Nix that start page and instead show the thumbnails of all the colorful templates and current projects. The later first
Careful not to Junk up the interface like later versions of NOF.
That's it.
This program wasn't for me, but that's okay. It MIGHT BE for you. I found NOTHING WRONG with this program.
peaceout men

I previously purchased the full version called WebSite X5 Evolution 9. It produced junky cookie-cutter websites.
Incomedia's customer service sucks. Try to contact them. You will never get a reply.
Incomedia's technical support is their user forums...but most moderators are Europeans and totally rude to Americans.
If you want a decent 'easy' website builder, look at Serif, Xara, or Magix for good-quality software and excellent tech support.
Don't bother adding trash to your PC's registry with this latest Incomedia junkware.

This free download of WebSite X5 Home 12 is bare-bones. It has very few free templates, the image editor only allows 8 filters, crop/rotate, and brightness/contrast, and it allows no design freedom, i.e. creating your own template. Also, when you finally figure out how to get an FTP address to upload it to the internet, it cannot be viewed. This goes for all of the WebSite X5 programs premium versions so far.
I tried the premium versions of WebSite X5 Evolution 12 and Professional 12. So many of the features were grayed out I was not able to make a good assessment of the programs. It looks as though either one of these might be pretty good for building a professional looking website, but there is still the very same issue with publishing.
I finally purchased a business plan with free domain from one of the top web hosting services. I get all features imaginable, and publishing is done and done with one click!
I guess if you just want something simple that is not for professional use, WebSite X5 Home 12 might work. I am not, however, sure if publishing is different or easier with the full version of this because I am not willing to spend the $20 it in order to find out as it would not meet my needs.

Not being responsive is not really an issue
since Google is now requiring all sites online
to also have a mobile version NOT a
responsive site... AMP (accelerated Mobile Pages)

You can not do professional web site with this software, it lack many things like auto adjust to various screen resolutions and can not read correctly the devices it is connected to, therefore, it is unusable for the wide audiences.

Is this better than Website X5 Compact 11?

It would be great if it ran on XP. Just cause Microsoft has abandoned it doesn't mean that everyone has.

Registration is a NIGHTMARE, program would need to be amazing to justify the effort, from the other reviews guess it isn't

The "Home" version giveaway today lacks the most critical requirement for website construction - websites are NOT RESPONSIVE. "Home" websites can only be viewed correctly on desktops, NOT on tablets OR smart phones. You have to shell out more bucks to get Evolution or Professional version to produce responsive websites. Sorry, will stick with WordPress for the time being.

Home version is very limited and contains only few functions. It is usable only for really very simple websites. I thought it is freeware already :)
But good try. Maybe next time..

Far to basic and complicated. I have been using Serif Web plus and find its not only cheaper than this software, but also more comprehensive. Will uninstall.

It's either too basic, or it's complicated. It can't be both.

Chris
he said complicated, not complex! :)

Dude, when you have to four-click to do something simple that other programs do in one click, that's complicated. And basic.

Home version is too limited. Will stick with Wordpress.
Thank you anyway.
