I spent some time checking on this software, company, and Netflix downloaders in general. There is very little info on this software besides ViWizard's own site. From the user guide it's clear you have to log into Netflix via this software whose customer service is GMT+8 which is somewhere in Asia, probably China. Does the Netflix password get phoned home?
If this re-encodes the Netflix stream, then it's a lossy screen recorder underneath.
Unless this software mimics a known streaming device perfectly, Netflix or any site you download from can detect a download and ban your account. If it downloads faster than watching it at 1x speed, they know it's a download.
As nice as it would be to download videos using this software, I wouldn't risk it because I can't find any info saying it's legal or that I won't get banned by Netflix. If there were more info available, that might help convince me. Until then better safe than sorry.

This program works well, surprisingly. It works exactly the way it is advertised.
For some reason, the download became throttled at some point; I do not know why.

I have a Netflix account. Downloaded this app and asked it to download a 2hr movie. Two hours later it still says "Analyzing video link." I have plenty of free space on laptop and running W11. So, I'll update you when it starts downloading, but so far, not a keeper, unfortunately. Thanks for the offer, though. Maybe others will have better luck with speed.

dave, when I downloaded the program the first tutor screen requested you sign into your Netflix account. From this I would assume the answer is yes to your question.

Does what they say it will do, but is VERY slow doing it - a ~55 minute show took about 2 hours to save, and VLC has a difficult time playing the video. A reconversion (with a different tool) is necessary to have smoother playback.
Limited in the audio channels - you can either have Stereo or 5.1, but not both.
As long as the app is open (saving a video or not) your computer will not sleep, standby, start a screensaver or lock.
