Step 1. Download Zip package from GOTD. Unzip the Package and run setup.exe to install the software.
Step 2. Run this software, and a pop-up window will appear. Click the “Get Free Registration Code” button to visit the registration access page, where you can enter your username and email address to receive the registration code for free.
Step 3. We will send the free activation code to the email address you provided. Please check your email inbox in due time. If you don't see it in your inbox, just check the spam folder.
Step 4. Return to the software, copy and paste the received registration code in the Registration Code field and click Register button to activate it successfully.

VideoSolo Studio, does your player handle commercial DRM protected Blu-rays? and does it bypass firmware limit on DVD region change limit of max 5 changes then you need a new optical drive or hacked firmware?

Skwaash, like many other players it *hints* that it can handle retail DVD & Blu-ray video DRM -- I suspect they only hint at it after DVDFab & others that outright stated they removed DRM faced legal actions. With VLC you have to jump through a hoops to play DVD/Blu-ray protected content.

mike, on their FAQ page the have Q6:
"Q6. Why does the video freeze for 4-5 seconds sometimes when I try to play a Blu-ray film?
When the VideoSolo Player plays Blu-ray discs, it takes approximately 4-5 seconds to remove the Blu-ray protection from the network. After that, the Internet will no longer be required."
The way I read the above is it uses the internet to obtain the necessary data to decrypt a particular Blu-ray discs DRM protection and their reply to my comment implies the service they use to handle DRM does not cover 100% of Blu-ray DRM schemes but it does work with some IF the player has an internet connection available.... which of course VLC does not posses that limited DRM capability and relies upon using a 3rd party program to pre-decrypt the ripped blu-ray DRM protected content and will not play commercially protected Blu-rays movies.
