UnHackMe was initially created as anti-rootkit software, but currently it has more features: scanning for "unwanted programs", checking for junk files, created by PUPs, scanning of Windows startup, services, drivers, testing Windows shortcuts, scanning for rootkits, testing the host files and DNS settings, testing all used files on Virustotal. The program uses its own database to detect what is better to remove from your PC. The important advantage of UnHackMe is that you can find an unknown malware by inspecting UnHackMe information.

UnHackMe eliminates various types of malicious software:

Very disappointed. I didn't expect it to find much if anything, but it gave 30 False positives on my browsers and trusted programs that I have been using for years. I don't know if I want to leave it on in the background. It may interrupt at a bad time. This might be a real tit on a bull.

Why should I install this pretty unknown tool UnHackMe instead of the always free and known Malwarebytes free, which also works alongside an existing AV-solution?

I have used this in the past, but I'd probably like to know whether this comes from Russia, Ukraine or somewhere else to install a new version in 2022... Russia seems a bit brave at present... (Sorry, but software authors probably don't get a choice when it comes to add-ons...)
