Can someone please tell me how I get my Audible books from my Amazon library to use with this software?

So you would rather that your daughter learn that it is ok to steal another persons intellectual property by giving it free to others after you've purchased your copy! As for the link you sent me, you should read the whole article because it states the same thing I just did. Further more the people who purchased the book were refunded their money!

(In a move that angered customers and generated waves of online pique, Amazon remotely deleted some digital editions of the books from the Kindle devices of readers who had bought them.
An Amazon spokesman, Drew Herdener, said in an e-mail message that the books were added to the Kindle store by a company that did not have rights to them, using a self-service function. “When we were notified of this by the rights holder, we removed the illegal copies from our systems and from customers’ devices, and refunded customers,” he said.)

After install this turns out to be: TunesKit Audio Capture.
So it does not convert anything, its simply a piece of recording software to record audio that's playing on your Windows PC.
So you have to load the audio book and play it and then record the audio.
What does this mean? If you have 47 hours of an audio book you you want to convert, you have to dedicate your system to 2 days of recording and any stupid sound your system makes during that time will be recorded into your audio book.
Since this software does nothing more than any of dozens of recording packages, its not worth the install.

wow. It seemed to work perfect. I can convert to m4a or mp3 and listen on my older device without audible.
(audible app is my first choice, but need this once in a while)

I have been audible member for 10+ years and done this before with several others program. All took hours with less quality.

This seem to work perfect in a few minutes.

I don't get it. I can already download audio books on Audible and the run on any device I download to. So why would I want to convert the book to anything else? It's also stored on the cloud so I can access it from anywhere.

When your 8 years old daughter asks you why can she give/borrow her dolls to a friend but not her audiobooks, you will get it.
When Amazon decides it is no longer your book, you will get it. https://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/18/technology/companies/18amazon.html
When a storm cuts your internet and all the clouds you have access to pour water on your head, you will get it.

Ron Dunn,
I have audible but have to use the Audible app to listen to them. I have a computer and I also like to use my mp3 player when I work out, and I can't use it because it doesn't do the audible format at all. I think that is where the difference comes in for some of us. I personally think having all our info on "the cloud" is a big security risk; just my personal opinion. I don't sync my devices. I don't want everything I have out there in cyberspace.

Ron Dunn, not all mp3 players can have the Audible app installed to play audiobooks. Also, after having listened to 3 audiobooks through the Audible Android app, I can say I definitely prefer another app for listening to audiobooks.

Excellent, I had a French language course I'd bought (genuinely) from audible and never been able to listen to. This program installed very simply on XP64 and converted the files in a second. Now listening to it for the first time, delighted. Many thanks to Tuneskit and GOTD.

Hmmmm...

Received a notification of this update via email this morning. I remembered Tuneskit as being a helpful program that In stalled from GOTD in January of 2019, and cautiously anticipated updating to the newer version. When I checked my installed version, however, I found it to be Tuneskit Audio Converter 3.0.3

This has a different program name and is version 2.0.1. Looks like this is a different program. Am I missing something...

works great for audible files, and can either split book into chapters or leave as an entire file, mp3 is my choice, but there are other formats that can be chosen from. I use audible and Tuneskit can pull information from the downloaded files to fill in the tags associated. I am happy being able to back up my audible library so that I can use it with my older iPods and other devices without using the audible app. Great Giveaway, Highley recommended for those wanting security in having a copy locally available without having to use the audible app or other audiobook sources.
