This program seems very similar to TuneMobile Spotify Music Converter that was in GOTD a short time ago. Maybe it's the same program with a name change?

So far so good. Has recorded a couple of songs so far. Must close and reopen program initially at first time use. Must have Spotify evidently, as it opens the Spotify desktop program simultaneously. I had no error warnings with Win10. Strangely, I hear no audio as it's converting at 1X speed. But output sounds fine. You can choose M4A, MP3, WAV and FLAC as output. You can also choose different bit rates.

Wouldn't this be piracy? Spotify strictly says that you need Premium to download things to make them accessible offline.

I have a free Spotify account and this software will record the music but sorry to say it also records the advertisements that Spotify plays every 10 minutes or so!!!

I have a Spotify account yet when TuneFab Music Converter adds the Spotify music and I press Convert, Spotify shuts down, Tunefab hangs for a bit then finally a pop up appears saying "Can not find Spotify", "Please download and install Spotify at first."
I already have Spotify! Shame the program doesn't seem to work even after I've reinstalled both Spotify and TuneFab as it looks really good.

Pros
- Simple drag&drop
- Conversion of songs, playlists, albums, artists, tracks
- Individual conversion (ability to drag and convert a random song you've never seen before, unrelated to your account)
- Fast conversion
- Changes to conversion speed and quality possible
- Original ID3 tags and metadata is kept
Cons
- Lower quality if free Spotify account is used, no way to keep the current bitrate because it doesn't default to that (free should be 96/160kbps, there is no need to convert into something higher than that, it only makes the file bigger but doesn't sound any better)
- Possible ads injected into random songs, which may require proof-listening afterwards, if you use a free Spotify account

On my Win 7 64bit desktop this seems to install, but refuses to launch, giving a message "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing: reinstall the program to fix this."
Three reinstalls later, the same message.
Uninstalled.

F22B, try updating Visual C++ Runtimes ( i would start with 2015 https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=48145 ) and make sure you have Spotify installed on your PC because this program won't work without it.

After adding a song, or songs, and clicking convert it just sits there spinning on the first song and staying at 0%. It needs Spotify installed on your computer as well because it opens it up and uses it somehow to get the music. If it can't convert a single song then it is of no use. Get a program to record sounds like Streaming Audio Recorder from Wondershare and play the song(s) and record them at the same time.
