Maintain a healthy corporate network! Total Network Monitor helps system administrators maintain local area networks by continuously checking the availability of network computers and services. While continuously monitoring your local network, Total Network Monitor sends instant alerts once an issue is detected, helping to correct issues before they become problems. Low bandwidth and low CPU consumption, multi-threaded performance and comprehensive reporting make Total Network Monitor an ideal solution for networks of any size.
Easy PC, Mac, Linux, and FreeBSD audit, reporting and software licenses management! There are no exhausting preparations needed in order to get your PC audit up and running: just install TNI 3 on one computer and that's it—you're good to go. Define a list of separate network nodes or IP-ranges or connect the scanner to an Active Directory domain. Next, specify the administrator's password and call it done after clicking Start scan! In a few short minutes you'll own data on all your Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and FreeBSD computers as well as network devices.
I consider myself to be pretty seasoned MSI package and SCCM deployment expert but this tool looks simple but it is very poorly designed. I understand that it is trying to simplify the packaging and deployment process but the interface is simply atrocious. The workflow doesn't make much sense and documentation does not explain very well what the process from begin to finish.
I could probably code the whole deployment in Powershell quicker than trying to figure out how to make the deployment work out of box.

OK hands up how many of you run a corporate network ... Mmmm ... Not very many. Thought this would be interesting to try out, it is restricted in that it doesn't detect the Lynux machines on my network so hardly total. I'm not going into the alternatives, but there are quite a few out there that do. Wasted quite a bit of time playing around with this and thought it wasn't too bad, pity it only works with Windows, cross platform would made this much more useful and not that difficult to do. I'll play this for a bit but don't think I'll be keeping it.

Make it Mac friendly! We have a mixed OS network and the scanner is not picking up a lot of our machines. We also have VOIP phones which would be nice to push patches to them too!
Thanks!

Downloaded 4 times, upon executing setup gives a files corrupted error and shuts down. Tried one time with AV disabled, and ran as administrator, still same message. Anyone successfully completed an install yet?

K. Doug Allen,
If you're using Kaspersky, it has a known (but not fixed) bug which results in 'the setup files are corrupted. please obtain a new copy of the program' error.
To workaround that, pause your protection (right click on the Kaspersky icon and select pause, and last option in the window that appears), then reboot/restart your PC, then run the Setup again, should run and install fine.
Once finished, enable Kaspersky again (right click -> Enable... I can't remember).
You may also prefer to restart your PC one more time.
If you want to find out more about the bug, just google the error code adding 'Kaspersky'.
Hope this works for you (and other users) :)

Julian,
Thanks, I tried that first. Disabled Kaspersky then tried 3 more time. No help. I really wanted to try the software, but it's expired now.

The software is great if your enterprise is only running Windows. In reality, there's more there's also IOS, Linux, and Android in the mix.

Is this useful for a few PCs in a SOHO workgroup without a domain?
Does it work only over a LAN? I ask because I check and update the SOHO PCs remotely using Teamviewer, but far from their LAN. Is there any chance this would work remotely using Teamviewer?
Anyway, congrats to GAOTD for presenting something different and obviously very useful.
