NONE of these DATA RECOVERY PROGRAMS ever offered here at GOTD/GAOTD support the creation of an iMAGE/Virtual iMAGE of the HARD DRiVE/Partition/USB Memory Device, etc. that the User can recover or Test a data recovery from.
THAT Program would make a SAFE DATA RECOVERY 100% safe and certain!.
To the very best of my knowledge there is only ONE (1) program that does this AND a paid license of that program can be purchased for between $10 to $20 in the Users own currency (NOT the equivalent of US Dollars converted to your currency)
RECUVA PRO is the name of the program, but it can also be purchased in a bundle of other programs too.

Todays program is not as good as some free programs I have tried.
Togerhershare Data Recovery Pro didn't even see my two external hard drives but I can access them with Windows explorer.
Uninstalling now.

Don't install / touch / modify the hard disk if you are going to do recovery on that hard disc. Or else the "modification" might will overwrite the location where you are going to recover the data.
Hence
(1) you should use another computer to download and create an app which can be boot from USB or CD, and try to recover the files without booting into Windows. Or
(2) Use a portable software which don't need installation.
(portable, no installation needed. Can run directly from USB)

This software was easily installed and activated.
I did a test of this software on a damaged SD memory card.
Result: Very Good.

Total time taken for scan: About 1 hour - which is VERY FAST !!!

I used RescuePro on same card and the total time taken to scan whole card would be about 10 DAYS.
I used Ashampoo on same card and a full scan would take a very long time too.
But Ashampoo allows me to choose what to scan for in a fast scan - for example only JPG files. Then it is faster - taking about 6 hours.
The TogetherShare Data Recovery Pro cannot allow you to specify what files to scan for BEFORE the scan. It scans for all files and can categorise them after they are found.
You can preview JPG and XML files.
You CANNOT preview Raw files like ARW (Sony format), RAF (Fuji format).
You CANNOT preview PSD (Photoshop files), TIF files, SVG files.
You can selectively preview and recover files of your choice. There is no need to recover all.
The {Time Left} indicator during scan is wrong and misleading. Just ignore it.
There is a bar chart showing progress. But it stops updating after the middle of the scan. Ignore it also.
The {Number of Files} scanned at any pint of time for Recovery is Accurate. You can rely on this.
When the scan is 100% complete, it will tell you in a new window.

Hmmmmm Downloaded and installed the program, but the 'Activate' button at the top asks for an activation key and there is a message saying 'if you don't have a licence code click here' .... that takes you to a page asking your for $69.99. Am I missing something here?

I had a drive crash a few months ago. I used Recuva and got around 90 files back. All of the .xls files were unusable. TogetherShare Data Recovery Pro found 748 files and the .xls files I checked all worked. Yes there were some junk files, but I got back all of my 400+ files. Don't have time to check them all today. The only downside was the countdown timer started at 2+ hours, but it took over 9 hours to do the scan.

TogetherShare, in my pc I had v6.6 installed and activated, after install the new version 7.0 it became trial and I can not activate, since morning Ive been trying to activate, I get an error message, server not reachiable!!!!

I installed it on Windows 10 x64. It installed in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)". But it seems that it is a 64 bit software. Or it is 32?

PaulF, That is what it implies actually.
X86 folder is for 32bit programs and the program folder for 64bit.
Most 64+32bit programs install in the Program folder its rare they install in the X86 but there are a few that does.
But the norm is X86 for 32bit programs only.
