Downloaded and installed easily. Used it on a mp4 file, and it made a beautiful rendition of the video into a nice sized gif. Not too big, not too small... just right. Very good for what it is meant to be.

Anyone know what's new in this major version increase over previous giveaways? looks and feels the same as 2.8.0.0 no changes to user interface, same options... is there anything different apart from the version number and build date?
