I see this was offered once in 2022 & again in 2023. Both version 13.0. Both times there weren't any comments about how the program worked. Perhaps few downloads. Perhaps little interest. But with less than 7 hrs remaining in today's giveaway, there have again been no other comments.

A YouTube search for reviews provided less than a handful of results, only one of which showed the interface, but with all commentary in some non-English language which I do not know. With the sound off, things looked so simple that a kid or non-computer-savvy senior could even use this by just poking around.

- A search for that name gets a lot of results from malware sites, many from people looking for help & posting info about programs on their computers. A lot of it is more technical than I wanted to try to interpret, but it was enough results to have me make sure all my protections in Windows Defender were up to date & turned on before proceeding.
- Upon proceeding, I got no warnings, so apparently it made no attempts to install malware.

I was just looking for something that can quickly and non-destructively split mp4 files. This has an extremely user-friendly interface. I tried it on 3 files & it did it extremely quickly. Testing the results in VLC Media Player had perfect playback.

I have not yet tried any of the other functions, but again, the user interface for them seems very simple & intuitive, and I may use them in the next year.

I have used the free VSDC editor in the past & it is far more powerful than this. It also has a bit more of a learning curve. A quick web search will turn up perhaps dozens of free video editors now available, some so powerful a person at home could practically make a feature film with nothing more than their cell phone (for a camera) and the free software. However, they will require more powerful hardware, larger downloads, more disc space, etc. And the more features there are to use and tweak, the more time it will take to learn.

For very quick, simple editing with a small (44MB) download size, this does the trick. Are there other programs that have similar functions, usability, and download size? Perhaps. I'm no expert. But I tried this one and am happy with it. Since no one else has said as much in the 3 times this has been offered, I hope that my words will be helpful to someone with similarly low-end video editing needs who is on the fence regarding today's offer. Go ahead and try it.
