I use Web Gallery Builder
it is for a bit more professional stuff. Creates thumbnails with very high quality and small size.

The download is a free version with some small limitations. If you do not bother the link to the product page in the galleries you can use it for free.

This certainly downloaded and installed easily enough ... as did importing 25 photos and one song.

Sadly, right after dragging and dropping a few of the photos into the actual slide show area, it froze. Ended up using ctrl&alt&del to get out of it.

Tried 3 more times and each time it opened easily but then froze shortly thereafter.

Thank you for the offer but am going to uninstall it, unfortunately.

After installing in Windows 7, ThunderSoft Flash Slideshow opens with the window off-screen. Repeated attempts to return it the screen have failed. Any suggestions?

I original posted that I wanted to be able to ad a URL to the images, it seems to have this capability but it does not work except in the preview within the program. When previewing in my web browser or viewing in web browser after saving and file output the curser acts like it is click-able but when clicked nothing happens, it does not go to my embedded URL. Please fix this ASAP and I'll be a happy camper except for the other problems below.

I'm finding with the flash output there is always a white border around the flash slide show being played. I wanted a black page not a white page so I went in and set everything I could to black then edited the html page that the program outputs to black - presto a thin white border around the flash. This sucks and should be fixed ASAP. Com'on guys there is more to life then the color "FFFFFF" or white.

What have I found that I really like? Seems this program can output a MP4 movie of the slide show and... IT DOES THIS VERY WELL. Much better then it does in flash. No white line around the movie. I was able to grab 20 photos, pop them into a simple slide show and output them as a MP4 movie for uploading to youtube in 30 seconds, THIS IS VERY COOL. OK, it would take longer then this if I want to ad captions to every photo but once you get used to this program you can build a slide show pretty quick.

Who the hell uses screen savers any more?? Maybe me now that I can build them easy as hell. I like cars so I naturally have a ton of car photos. i was able to go into a directory, grab a bunch of car photos and output them into a black background screensaver in 30 seconds, COOL. And with no white border like in the flash output. Hummm, this is pretty cool. I can make screen savers and distribute them with cool photos and my web site address embedded or my company name embedded down on the bottom. i know there are lots of programs out there that can do screen savers but this is pretty cool. Too bad most email system such as gmail will not allow executable files to be sent. I could make a screen saver of our vacation and send to the grandparents via email. Maybe I could upload it and just send them a download link.

All in all this is a very cool program that could work for me to build movies and maybe if it was fixed use to advertise products on my websites.

Please fix the white border that gets embedded into the flash output, fix the embedded URL issue and I may actually buy a commercial license for this. Some more professional looking templates would be good also but the plain looking ones includes are fine. So far can not figure out how to import the other template package into program, any one figure this out?

Funny, this is supposed to be a flash slide show maker and it does MP4 movie slide shows perfect and screws up the flash output unless you like white pages for EVERYTHING.

Total thumbs up for me on this, because it was free. Make it work better for what I need, commercial advertisements with embedded URL's for advertising stuff on my affiliate websites and fix the stupid flash output white border issue and I would spend $$ to buy this.

Installed fine on Win 7/64. I made a slideshow about a week ago using MS Photo Story, and tried this program out today. I find this program to be user friendly. I love the drag and drop addition of photos and animated clip art effects, as well as the option to add custom ones. Adding text and changing it was also very easy. This program was not only easy to use but fun as well. The only suggestion I would make is that the 'Intro' and 'End' slides be more editable, giving us the option to change the headers, or even remove them. (If there is this option, I could not figure it out.)

This program is a 2 thumbs up from me. I don't know why there are many negative comments, except that those posters probably did not try this product. The price might be a bit high, but the program itself is pretty amazing.

Thank you GOTD and Thundersoft. I will be using this program to make my slideshows from now on, and will recommend it.

I have been a GOTD user for the past few years. With my Win 7 64bit Asus laptop I have never had any problems downloading and launching any GOTD offerings. Todays Thundersoft offering has finally broken my no problem streak. After trying to launch this program multiple times and two reinstalls I keep getting an error message indicating "The program cannot find the Adobe Flash player on my computer". I have even reinstalled the latest Adobe 11.3 version twice, and still get the same message. Any one else getting this problem?

@#9 I hope iPhones and iPads will die out since they lack support of flash video (plus they are heavily overpriced and produced by children in asia).

I agree with the comment from lemonadesoda (2)

The sample slideshows put me off. But seems this software is designed for kids, then this is OK.

DVDSlideshowGUI's "Match slideshow to audio length" is an important feature sorely missing in nearly all the other slideshow creators. I will chcek this out, but you can't really go wrong with DVDSlideshowGUI, and free as well.

Seems to me that if PicturesToExe were that superb, one wouldn't continue looking for a better product. No?

I'm just sayin' ...

#8 do you, Giovanni or any other smart people here know how to convert a video in .exe to avi, WITHOUT resorting to screencapture?

How much is Wnsoft paying GRO to say such `nice things` about PicturesToExe? Or is Wnsoft, GRO?

Problem is todays GOTD is free while PicturesToExe is only a trial version before you pay for it!

Just to add...you can include music and video clips, too, in PictureToExe (wnsoft.com).

Flash is dying out since it cannot be viewed on iPhones and iPads. The developer should consider creating a slideshow in HTML 5 instead of Flash.

I have tried just about every slideshow program out there and the only one that is consistently the best is PicturesToExe. You can find it at wnsoft.com. No other program gives you the flexibility and outstanding results. You can download the trial version. The quality of the final products can't be beat. I have been using it for years and just can't find any other slideshow that can top it.

Downloaded and installed fine on XP SP3. Registration went smoothly without a hitch. I made a fantastic slideshow of my granddaughters first birthday and saved it to my computer thinking it would give me what it saves it will.. a FLV file video slideshow. It does not. I have been frustrated with this problem in the past with a swf slideshow maker. It will not save the file in any other file format than one that their players will play, or you must upload to their site to get an link or embed code. I have tried to send it in an email and that gets me the yellow triangle with the exclamation point in it on a popup and nothing else.
Why can you not just actually give us a slideshow maker that will save the file as a FLV file we can do anything we want to with? Why must you involve yourselves further? If your looking to make money from us.. your looking to the wrong people. We come here to get free software that is offered by you guys. I am not interested in buying a software for this type of thing because it is never .. and I mean never free from strings to the mother.
If you want to make a lot of people happy and gain their respect so they will look to you to purchase software when they have a need then PLEASE just give us what you promise and since you tell us upfront that there is no technical support then cut us loose from you.
I am not even going to spend the entire day looking for a workaround to get this thing converted to something I can use. I am uninstalling..

It's a pity this software can't include a small mix of video files with the photos in the slideshow.

I would really like a more commercial version where I could embed URL's in the photos so when the photo is displayed a visitor could click on the photo and go to a page or affiliate link to buy the item in the photo, I would be willing to pay for that.

If this version is ever added be sure to offer the option of cloaking the aff links if wanted. Also offer a built in configurable scrolling message urging viewers to click and buy the item they are viewing.

Build this and it would make a nice simple way to build a e-commerce store or build an affiliate related website, something I have many of.

I downloaded and installed in my Windows7 box without any problems. Just checked the main features and made a quick screensaver. Even though the screen saver can't cover the second monitor, this software seems to do what it says it can do.

This GAOTD is an excellent tool (60 thumbs down?? Come on...) to create photo slideshows from your digital pics...

However I believe that "DVD Slideshow GUI" outclasses any other slideshow creator out there, including this GAOTD...

Key features:

Import Power Point (ppt) and Impress (obp).
· Animate, Pan, Zoom, Rotate images.
· Add animated background(jpg, png, bmp, avs and avi).
· Add multiple mp3, wav, m3u(playlist) music.
· Add subtitles with effects.
· 237 Transitions (so not just 70 like this GAOTD)
· Export to 17 formats.
· Add visual effects to images.
· Add visual animated effects to the slideshow.
· Edit images in paint program.
· Edit and convert to avs scripts in AvsP.
· Change subtitle fonts.
· Sort after filenames or subtitles.
· Match slideshow to audio length.

And it's amazingly FREE...

Another great FREE slideshow video creator is also "Bolide Free Slideshow Creator":
