I got the program installed and I do love it. I had no problems but then, now, every time I run the program I have to re-enter the activation code which takes care of it but now it also says I have a trial copy. I contacted support but they cant help me being it is the give-a-way.
I do recommend everyone that has this program needs to hang onto it because it is a awesome one and I have tested out a bunch of em.

I had the original download file installed. Installation and activation with supplied key was a 'nightmare'. The suggested update link downloads ver. 6 and suggests uninstalling old version.
After installing new download, nowhere to obtain new key without full purchase. Original installation file is blocked by GOTD etc. So what is the answer? To many problems with this installation!
The program may be excellent but is not worth the frustration.

Not resolved. Can't download version 5 - there is only download for version 6. And the old one says "You've already activated"

Spent a lot of time on and off during the day trying to install this programme!
As a last resort I disabled my antivirus software for a few minutes and Hey Presto - no problem: installation went in easily!

My initial impression has me slightly confused. It seems I am looking for controls and settings that because I simply don't know where to click, I end up starting a whole new project after getting frustrated setting fonts (wanted to use the NEW "Hack" font, over and over. After the "initial setup" I was happier with Hack but it seemed to fight me on the SIZE next.

I guess the remedy for ME is I am Looking for the GLOBAL PROJECT settings quickly without goin through every menu -- to be fair, It maybe there, but I don't SEE it yet.

Then we have these tables. I can delete the columns down to one, but not the rows? Right Click? No luck. Delete Key? No luck

I Have a couple of drupal websites still, but I got to be honest I probably won't use this on them. I find myself lacking/ in want to get to the "global project settings meat" after starting an initial project.

Oh yeah one weird thing also annoying/glitch flaw.
when you hover for help or hover I guess, this thing pops up saying doubleclick, but it doesn't go back away again, so I find myself working with the POPUP over my work.

Okay, anyway, I am sure it works for some folks websites, but I just spent too much time hand editing my own themes basically. I know.. I know..

won't be rash, I will look at it again in different ways before I give up, I was one of the ones who just wanted to try it to be honest, anything these days that can make my job faster is a winner for my next ten years going forward.

16 hours ago the LAST comment was made... does this mean you have turned off comments? I got a download and installed without problem, then sent for the S/N which hasn't arrived yet... after an hour or so. But what concerns me is what I have running TT is JUST the 3 screens shown above under You Have Limited Time To Download and Install It... and nowhere on any of these screens is any kind of Menu for File Menu > Activation or anything else! There is no Exit the Program, nothing about Save or anything else! I had to close the program by invoking Ctrl+Alt+Del and find the Process and stop it! Where is the Menu?

Was able to download to Win10 with no issues. Got my registration keyvia tt.gotd@gmail.com. Registered easily.

However, the program hangs up quite a bit ... "not responding" when I try to do minor things like edit pix or text. Also, can't seem to figure out how to change the color the text (in the sample set up) sits on. I double click, as the pop up instructs, to edit the test but can't see anywhere to change the color the text sits on. Quite frustrating. I'm an old timer hand coder as well as a pro on several different WYSIWYG web design softwares but so far this one is not so easy straight "out of the box," so to speak. I'll play around with it more and see if it gets better.

Oh, another issue I have is in trying to change the web browser in the menu. It's default is IE and I try to select Chrome but it either hangs up "not responding" or simply doesn't change. Also, whenever I try to open a browser within the program, I get Microsoft Edge, which is not my default browser. Also frustrating.

Seems like a nice piece of software giving you a lot of potential when you are in for true responsive webdesign .. Still .. this is the older version .. The 22nd of march TTP introduced a newer release .. Resulting in several templates that can only be used after updating and paying for that newer version .. The online chat support seems busy .. And in my timezone (3 am) it's time to sleep . Thanks for the offering anyway TTP .. I'll look at it more in detail .. You always can send me the key to activate your latest release through email ..

Installed and activated on Win 7 x 64. Looks like a very useful and well designed program. I look forward to trying it out. Thanks GOTD and TT.

A tip for those of you who can not install the software because the Windows User Account Control stop the installation.
Download Microsoft .NET Framework appropriate for your version of Windows if you do not already have it installed.
Download the application from GAOTD and unzip the file.
Add folder on your desktop so it is easy to find.
Restart the computer in Safe Mode with Networking.
Start the installation from the folder on the desktop.
Restart the computer in normal mode.
Download the registration key as written instructions in the text file.
Start the program and register it with the key.
Voila!

Does this software allow to load the project of a site already developed to some extend in HTML5 in order to develop it further? The site is fully operable and correct, but it is not based on a WordPress template?

If anyone is STILL having issues with obtaining the software... I visited the Template Toaster website and talked to their Online Support Chat and was given a link. After downloading and installing I had no further issues. Thank you GOTD and Template Toaster.

Trying to install on Windows 10. After extracting the zip file and starting the setup, the following message pops up:
"The setupfiles are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program."
A new download didn't help.
Any solution for that?

Not ahd areal chance to fully explore the programme. However on first glance it seems ok. I have not checked how clean the code is either.
Some points. I watched the videos on Youtube. They could be better done by someone with a more neutral accent. Some words are badly mispronounced and it seems they are reading from a script, there is no "joy" in what they are doing.
The programme cannot read web sites/pages already written in HTML. This means you have no way of editing some previous work.
Note: once you have designed your pages then you have to add the information and the images.
I did feel that the contact forms are a "little light" on options, for instance I have not found any calender facility or drop down. But like I said I have only had time to glance at the package.
I used the second download to windows 7 64 bit and everything went smoothly. You must allow time for the code to be sent.

Can one make non Scrolling One Page templates with this software? Does someone know? It would be great if this was the case. Some poster above implies this to be the case & seems to believe that's great, because such themes are supposedly "in".

When trying to install, the message I get is: "the key could not be decrypted".

I understand someone is apparently working on the problem, but when solved will I need to download a second time?

In other words, should I delete the zip file already downloaded?

This looks like a great tool I hope to use especially for Wordpress & Drupal, ... I installed without a problem after waiting for some hours to get the activation issue resolved.

I am yet to get time to test and do however hope all produced themes are not necessarily Scrolling One Page, after a preliminary look & reading some comment to that effect earlier on by someone very excited about the feature and that one can easily make any theme responsive.
Can anyone say anything about the 2 issues?

I got my activation key in about 2 minutes from the website mentioned in the read-me file. Actually, I applied for the key BEFORE I installed the program, the idea being that when I was finished with installation the key should have arrived - and it did.

As far as the program is concerned, this has the appearance of a premium web building program, well worth trying out (if you build websites or plan to build in the future.)

I mainly build Wordpress websites, and I just wonder if this program will build WP sites that are fast loading of the home page? Many WP themes have all sorts of Java scripts and CSS files that render page loading much slower than HTML websites. I'm concerned about that and I didn't see any mention of page load time on the company website.

Otherwise (IMO), grab it while it's free!

After giving up trying to download from GOFD I managed to get a licence in an email. I installed the program from TT's website as suggested and used the default Pro version. Hoever now TT says the license they sent is invalide ????
Is the key supplied from their site the standard version. Thinking about giving up on this. Any ideas.

JUNK. Downloaded and installed on Win10 no problem, got license key... NO WAY TO ADD LICENSE KEY. Program TAKES OVER YOUR COMPUTER. To reclaim computer you have to kill the program using Windows task manager. Seriously, could you possible suck even more. NO, NOT EVEN REMOTELY POSSIBLE TO SUCK EVEN MORE!!!

I downloaded the software and installed it, but it keeps crashing when I open it on my machine (Windows 8.1). Very disappointed. This looked good.

Installation and KEY request and receival was flawless. The e-mail with the KEY took about 5 to 10 minutes to arrive.
NOW, opening the software and entering the license is another matter!!
The screen that opens is the first one that's presented above, right under the clock : start at the left ( that does nothing ) and all options of themes to design - Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress etc. and that's it. No menu, no nothing!! As it is a transparent FULL screen, there is a minimizing icon and the X icon that are placed in the far right top corner of the desktop. Pressing the X exits. Pressing the keys alt+F4 also exits.
Well, and now what??????
Press any of the Windows 8 stile tiles. I pressed the Wordpress one.
Now appears the second image that's right below the clock above.
NOW is the tricky part. YOU MUST select any one of the themes being presented on this screen, right below the Go With Sample Templates!! OR press the Start from Scratch on the left and then the Start button on next screen.
AND NOW you really enter the program's main screen.
On the top left you have some Undo, Redo, Save etc icons and right bellow a serie of menus, like File, General, Body, Page etc. Press the File one that's in purple color. The third item from below to top is the activation one. Press it, enter the activation key you received in the email ( I copied and pasted it with no problems ), and your done!!!
All these instructions should have been on the readme.txt, BUT they are not.

For the last few months had problems when trying to retrieve serial numbers in my Hotmail account, they just never arrive.

However, when this has happened I've used the 10 min e-mail account without the slightest problem.

The new build has worked without any difficulty and registered with the serial received for the first build.

Dear Sisters. I have a question. After building a super high end nice looking beautiful WP theme with this software, could i be safe with this theme? I mean what about theme security? I have WP themes and see my stat that hackers try to play with them. So i'm wondering how safe it is. Many thanks for GOTD and the developer.

No way to eXit, No menu to add the Activation code, just those 2 things alone make it deletable. I'm not going to work my tail off to make a template just to have it not work because I can't enter the activation code.

BTW it was downloaded and installed after all these messages about it being fixed.......

It is a downer that it is version 5 of TemplateToaster and not version 6 because the newest version has the best features, but oh yeaaaaaah.

Just a note on price...

'The program is available for $149.00' statement at top of GOTD page is not strictly true, as it refers to version 6.

The giveaway here is an older V5 from last year.

So, is this only a 30-day trial software or not? Or is it the full program.

The TemplateToaster site is apparently getting hammered, & is pretty unresponsive, so maybe the Wikipedia page will help for those who want to check out the developer a bit -- parts of it seem cut & paste from the developer. Note that the current version is 6, which is what sells for $149 for the Pro version.
