Every day we offer FREE licensed software you’d have to buy otherwise.
Tabbles 5 Basic 5.9.2 was available as a giveaway on June 20, 2020!
Tabbles is a revolutionary new document management system built for the purpose of organizing and optimizing all kinds of files in your system. Tag files from your right-click menu in Windows and share data with your colleagues. Beyond the ability to place the same file into several tags, Tabbles enables describing the contents of the managed files, folders, and bookmarks. You can use the built-in auto-tagging rules give users the option to automatically tag any DOCX, XLSX or PDF file that contains the word "Contract" (yes, Tabbles search in the CONTENT of files too!), as well as any file created in the folder C:\Contracts that is named "_delivered_".
The suite also comes with an Outlook plugin (pre-installed) and a Chrome Extension that simplifies the task of tagging emails and bookmarks, creating a sort of a virtual sub-system! All of this works for files saved on your hard disk, a network drive or any file synchronization service like Dropbox or OneDrive.

We offer a lifetime license of Tabbles Web to those who will deploy the current version it and give feedback to the developer.
I had a problem to register the licence code on the day of the Giveaway. Support by emails from Andrea at Tabbles.net was efficient, swift and polite.

Although I don't have a use for today's download, I thought I give it a trial and see what it's capable of. It works well and does everything the developer claims, of course the speed at which it does it will depend on the number of tagged files, etc. However, I don't think this is the sort of software your "average" user would need or use on a regular basis, it's more for someone running say a research project it could be a very useful tool but the price tag is a bit high, especially if you have to renew every year and dare I say it but there are freeware programs that can do a very similar job. Thanks but not today.

1 year license. Tagging is like manual classification of what genre the file information belongs to. For example your doc file on your tour to India during which you suffered a near death experience of food poisoning.
Tag under "India" , "Travel" and "Medical".
You can simply use folders and once in a while have deliberate duplicate documents in different folders for this purpose. No need for complicated "tags".
No need to pay EVERY year for the rest of your life to achieve a simple function.

This looks to be the answer I have been looking for to easily locate files on the server. I will test it over the next few weeks and, if it does as I think, will get a licence for several of our users.
At this stage the performance and features certainly look to be desirable. While I agree that is is not for the average user, it may well have a role to play for corporate users.

Agree with Adam, is there an option for a lifetime license?

For the average user this is not a must have software, it is useful but not necessary. Most persons use alternate method for tagging or sorting or making references to files, if need it. Subscription model for software will never work for the home users, they use the software occasionally or very rare or never. Just imagine, most of us have hundreds of different software installed, just the expense for it to maintain the software will be not affordable.

joe giveaway o'day, Then it returns to "free" version, which has more limits. If you're below those limits (number of tagged files and automatic rules) it will work normally.
If you have more files/rules than the free version allows, it will complain for 30 seconds when you open or after a few uses... but still possible to be used (does not allow to add more rules)
