Adif - the % bad or any rating is misleading at best. What did it find and did it clean it?
I liked this one so much I bought it - $19.95 on their web page was well worth it

I'll stick with Glary Utilities Pro, on of the best things GOTD ever offered! This offers a lot of a lot of things but lacks control over too many of the tools. Uninstalled.

19-A much better free alternative is this http://remo-more-for-windows.en.softonic.com/ You don’t have to worry about the program deleting any data you actually wanted. Highly commendable.
Giovanni recommended this quite some time ago. Free AVG, Malwarebytes
and Remo seem to keep my laptop clean. Like many, I go to places that perhaps I should not go to. I don't mean Porn. I use Chrome and very pleased.

@Giovanni #13 (and maybe @Karl #2)
I previously tried the free Toolwiz Time Freeze software and it worked amazingly well even though I continued to use it while I leisurely tested some portable software over a several day period of time. I fully intended to restart the computer to undo everything that was done, which did work perfectly, but I wasn’t aware that you could decide to not restart the computer and keep/apply the changes that were made. Is this true? Thank you for your frequent knowledgeable help.
Regarding this giveaway, I can’t seem to get past the confirmed coding problem that Karl thankfully identified regarding a mixture between German and English wrongly being displayed. I agree with Karl, and his provided proof, in that this not due to the system language. For now, I will continue to use the trustworthy CCleaner, especially since other similar types of software have actually corrupted some of my installed software, assumedly because they cleaned my PC too aggressively.
Thank you, giveawayoftheday.com, for continuing to host and offer these free giveaways!

Its always fun to read the comments here - people from competing companies trying to pawn themselves off as unbiased users, hawking their own products. Always take all comments you read here with a large grain of salt... and consider the sources.
There are so many of this type of software product out there, what distinguishes this one from all the rest? Haven't heard a single comment here to make this product stand out above all others.
I'll pass.

@15 Yes I noticed that you can "Right Click" on the headings and it lists the files that WILL Be Cleaned! There is no Way? (At least that I have found yet?) To tell Synei System Utilities 2.10 To Say: Do NOT Delete my IE History Files! I may want to keep this? Or, That? and you do NOT Get a selection to NOT Do something? I just does what the designers think I need done! That is the Only Problem I have with this software at all! CCleaner and Advanced System Care and every other utility like this has box's you can check to yes! Removes everything! Or, NO just this and that? Its nice they offer a System Restore point! (o;
FYI: Synei System Utilities 2.10 Installed easy and fast on Windows 7 64bit No Problems to report other then stated above! Because of that I can not use this utility, But, For the average user that wants to clean out there PC? And make it latterly like Brand New! And Restore all the files that are now gone to there favorite WEB Sites etc. Its a good choice for FREE Today! Thanks to GOTD! And Synei. I had Version 1.something from 2012 I beleave, And do not see any difference in this new version on the menus or the over all look of the program, I am sure they have made improvements and that It works better then the old versions? Witch quit working after a while for not being registered? Like a lot of these utilities on GOTD! After a year at best they stop working! Or, Become a Non-Registered version! Its ether FREE? Or its NOT! Don't lie to me! Anyway that's my 2 1/2 cents worth! Happy Halloween!!! Everyone! Have FUN! Be safe! Eat lots of Chocolate! But, Not till you get sick! LOL! Rick D.

Thank you for this giveaway. I find it has a lot of other tools and utilities that are very useful as well, as well as some other "advanced" tools. I suggest this software, very good and user friendly, and does what it says. I will keep it on my machine. A suggestion to the developer: simple one, please standardadize window size across all dialogs, and make the main interface re-sizable / full screen able. Thanks :^)

@Chewy, #3:
Should one really expect the sales folks at Synei to give an honest comparison between their product and Norton's, even if Norton's is better?
I'd guess even a feature by feature comparison would be suspect, with the Synei representative saying "our version of [feature] is better than theirs" or "we decided not to include [feature] because it isn't useful". (If they don't believe those things, they shouldn't be selling the product.) But then the Norton sales reps would say the same thing.
Google might come up with a page of reviews, but first-hand experience from people on this forum might prove more helpful still.

@Fishbone: No, that´s not the reason. CHIP says: "Synei System Utilities" kommt zwar mittlerweile mit einer deutschen Übersetzung, diese ist aber so schlecht, dass wir Ihnen empfehlen, die Freeware weiter auf Englisch zu benutzen.

Contrary to what is stated in comment #4 above, you can check which files will be "cleaned" by highlighting each section and right clicking.

I don't normally like these "clean your PC" and "speed up your PC" style programs but after doing testing with this, I realized this one is very similar to Ccleaner which would still be a great alternative.
Some things I noticed:
-Has the capability of creating system restore points, has a backup manager, can clean your memory ( this is very nice for gamers! ), can help optimize certain entries in your registry so your internet isn't clogged down you won't tell much difference there but still.
I think this is a "decent" cleaner. I won't go out and say that it's "the best" If I didn't already have Ccleaner PRO and Razer Cortex to clean my memory I would had more than likely kept this little gem. Uninstalled and rebooted.

Excellent choice to keep your PC in top shape, but Toolwizcare does even more for FREE: for instance it provides you with the award-winning "Toolwiz Time Freeze" module, which enables you to deal with any virus, malware and unknown risk without being worried anymore, as it basically creates a sort of VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT for your system partition through a "sandboxie style", kissing malware (and your wallet) goodbye for good.
Best part is that you can enter and exit from this VIRTUAL SYSTEM with a single mouse click, without the need to reboot your PC: COOL, isn't it dudes?

Downloaded and installed fine. First run was okay. It didn't do any better than the other four, tap your heels three times and say I wish for a new computer programs I already had installed. I'll pass on this.

Just a reminder before you install/run a program of this type. Make sure you have a restore/recovery point on your system or better yet a fairly new complete backup on an external drive/source. Perhaps I will try it later but since I am going away in the next couple of days I don't want to take a chance. Thank you for the download anyway.

If you don't want the software running in the background when your computer starts be sure to go to Settings\General settings and uncheck "Start automatically when windows load" and "Hide to tray on close."

It's a good little All-in-One utility and a great compliment to your Cleaning Utilities. It also has a Malware Blocker.

Installed on my XP boot, same false alarm. BAD 63%!!!
~183MB of temporary files got me this score.
Now you tell me, is 340MB of "junk" out of 100GB 7 partition
or 184MB out of 40GB XP partition, deserves such score??
If this is Synei scoring scale, no thank you.
I will stick to ccleaner and others.

The software tries to give user value for money. It does many things.
For proficient users, it offers little. Because proficient users already have their preferred tools for each aspect. e.g. startup manager, registry cleaner, etc....
We prefer detailed control instead of a 1-click Optimise Services or Optimise IP. Or a 1-click PC Clean Up.
That is not saying it is bad. But the risk is great if the cleaning or optimisation is too aggressive. It is an unnecessary risk for proficient users to take.

"The interface is in my case inconsistent – a mixture between German and English, even if I select “English” as language"
Simple reason. The program is listing some of your services and your system language is German so the names of the listed services are German too.

installed on 7 and received BAD 60% !!! after 1 scan.
For what you ask? well ~340MB of temporary and caches files,
I tell you what's bad in this GOTD, you can't check what files it want do delete. Among the 340MB, 70MB list's as "apple products" I will gladly remove any apples form my system but I want to know what.

@NWgator:
That is a question for the sales team, on this page you will find the page where you can ask that type of question: http://www.synei.com/company/contact-us
In the future, just look at the product page inside the box of info with the Yea's and Nay's at the top...in the middle there are two links, Publisher and the Product Page (this page.) The Publisher takes you to a link that shows previous Giveaways by the publisher...but right underneath that is a link to where you may find this type of information. I seriously doubt any of the users are going to spoon feed you the type of info you are asking! You will have to either contact the sales team as I explained, of do a little research yourself. Good Luck.

Installed and registered on a Win 8.1.2 Pro 64 bit system.
Aloha Hawai'i!
An US company from Hawaii. We had had the version 1.82 on February 12th of this year. Here are the old reviews:
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/synei-system-utilities-1-82/
A company with an address, a name and a history. And a company goal!
Synei is a new privately owned software company founded in March 27, 2013 by Ref Chowdhury. We are located in Hawaii but we are looking to expand our company internationally.
This is the "premiere" version, it is not mentioned, but you'll see it with the enabled "turbo mode".
One of the many “we’ll make your system faster than ever” programs. In this case not “faster than ever”, but like a “brand new computer”…
This program will clean, speed up, maintain, secure, and repair your system to make your PC run like brand new.
I am afraid of the “brand new”, because I would like to keep all the installed programs. Let’s test.
A small not resizable dark window opens. You can change the skin - "soaring wind" or "navy nylon", why no "surfin' Hawaii"?
The interface is in my case inconsistent - a mixture between German and English, even if I select "English" as language:
http://www1.xup.to/exec/ximg.php?fid=91262938
My system is on the first run in a "good" condition:
http://www1.xup.to/exec/ximg.php?fid=12998757
That's good. All other tools claim, that my PC is in a lousy condition and must be repaired/optimized/boostet immediately with their tool...
The program makes an excellent impression. Nothing really new, but programmed with the demands of the unexperienced user in mind.
After the test, I am happy not to have a brand new computer. All my installed programs have been left untouched.
A good choice for those, who believe in magically making a computer better and faster and brand new and who buys from time to time snake oil. A good impression overall!
Install it, if you want to have a brand new PC for free!
I do not need three dozens registry reviver, driver booster, PC maintainer, file refresher, super speed up program or RAM optimizer.
Uninstalled via reboot.

Can anyone more technically proficient than me compare this program to Norton Utilities to maintain/cleanup my system, which I'm using now? Thanks.
