requires Windows 7 or above complains a bout a procedure it cannot find in MF.DLL otherwise. Vendors websites system requirements are correct the ones here are wrong.

Can't install under Vista it gets to 99% and then stalls, progressing no further. Published Sys requirements above include XP and Vista so no idea what's gone wrong!

If you have a PDF viewer that you are happy with choose custom installation and deselect Set SwiftDoo PDF as your default view as this will become and expired trial after 6 months or less depending upon how they start the license period i.e. is it from moment of registration or from the generation of the activation coupon code.

Can it OCR a scanned PDF raster into a searchable PDF file with an imbedded text layer like adobe acrobat would? And if so are the OCR results editable before committing to the layer to the resultant PDF which Adobe Acrobat Pro that I used did not allow? And if not, why not to both?

rww, In response to the response to my comment which isn't showing up here, none of the PDF24 extensive set of tools appears to require or use AI. As well it states:
