The installation runs fine. When attempting to download a video from X.com it states that you have to click PRIVATE button which opens an imbedded browser where you are expected to then login to X.com Not sure if I'd want my username and password going through their private embedded browser. Having to copy and paste a video's url is old school and time consuming. Majority of downloaders this is done automatically. I was impressed with the ability to capture live streaming. I would give it a 8 out of 10 score. I have yet to run across a 10/10 score for any download management program.

jb405, I guess you have some misunderstanding of what is basic downloader. It lets you:
- Download playlists and channels
- Support 10+ audio and video formats
- support batch downloading
- Allow you to clip and download part of a YouTube video
- Automatically download new videos from tracked channel and playlist
I don't know what is the advanced video download features you want.

I have not actually tested the product. It did not give me the option to install it to a specific drive and I do not allow software on my primary drive "C". When the program is terminated it leaves it running as a background service, I didn't see any way to shut it down other than go into task manager.

Hello, to use the Tracking feature, you need to allow SurFast Video Downloader to run background. And as you find, you can completely close it from the task manager. We will consider an optimization. Thanks for your understanding.

The setup.exe provided is a downloader and downloads the real installer 200MB into the folder %TEMP%\NablaMind\ along with a subfolder with the downloader itself in. After install the temp folder and download / downloader are not cleaned up wasting over 200MB of C:\drive space. On uninstall these files are still not removed. You may want to remove them manually. Also if installing onto a 32bit edition of windows 7 to 10 the installer is forced to installing into a C:\Program Files (x86) subfolder which is NOT a valid program files folder on 32bit editions of windows and the installer blindly creates the folder structure but does not institute the windows security settings that Program Files* hierarchy *should* have. I would highly recommend on 32bit editions of windows to choose custom install and change the install path the the correct C:\Program Files\ hierarchy to maintain the basic security layer it provides.

Had an issue with this software. Opens after installation and validation. Once I closed it, it would not reopen. Hit the install file again and it opens from that. If that's the case, I can't use it.
