You might need to get the download link via email, then go to the get-key page.
Finally the page worked for me with FireFox.

will not work on Win7 -- why ? ...
Save | Cancel
mhz, probably due to win7 being stuck at an old insecure chrome browser engine and to use current patched up chrome engine you need a significantly newer version of windows. Happened to XP, then Vista now Win7 and 8s turn to be abandoned by the big 3rd party software houses. Doesn't matter if MS are still producing patches that can be applied manually...

As the key registration page is not opening for me, I can only test the trial version. In the trial version you are limited to 6 minutes on the download. Selecting the video quality, language and undertitles is not as comfortable as other apps that offer streaming downloading, however it is functional and resulting 6 minute video is good, but the download also took 6 minutes to complete plus another 3 or 4 minutes to process.
From the limited testing I could do, the pros and cons are:
Pro:
Works as advertised
Remembers login information
Common services available
Cons:
Requires a lot of disk space for the application
Slow starting due to large (~798MB installation)
Not all streaming services available
More technical than other applications
No browsing, you have to know the exact link you want to save
Very slow and appears to capture the stream real time versus actually downloading
Download link on GOTD to large, and should only be offered for the OS desired

Can the program handle downloads from premium services with ads? And, if so, are the ads included in the download or only the show?

SidB, I currently have a trial with Disney+, hulu, etc. with ads. I've downloaded a couple movies with the app, and while I haven't watched the whole movie yet, I have scrubbed through with VLC and there don't appear to be any ads. That said, I have had some problems with the Windows version under Windows 11. Not sure if it's buggy, or if it has a conflict with something else on my PC. If I add several videos, it will either freeze or will cause my computer to lose connection to DNS server (pi hole) and have no internet access. Then it crashes. I haven't had same issue on Mac (yet).

Misstro, I am having the same problems with Windows 11. Usually, I have to reboot and try again, so I don't think the problem conflicts instead I think the problem is that it needs more refinements as it does appear to be somewhat buggy.

Normally, during the the paid up time (which is one year on this one) you get updates until that time is up.

@AF Phantom there is nothing to clarify about updates. Its simple and clear, most softwares here do not allow updates.
However, I am wondering why the app is up to 500MB. that's way too heavy. because we have lighter ones in its category.

Luminaire,
the program archive includes both Win and Mac versions, which forms the bigger weight. The Win version is 207 MB.

GOTD team, ok, but 207 MB for a video *downloader* is still a lot.

Luca Nonato, the main executable is 159MB then there 's a bunch of 3rd party files and executables also it's 64bit executable which are larger and more inefficient with file sizes as even static 8 bit bytes take up 8 bytes in the executables if they are uncompressed exe's and dll's.

There is no mention about updates? I know we usually can not update to a newer version unless we want to lose the free version. Can someone from GOTD clarify this? Thanks

Dawn, I think the question was asked because some software actually will upgrade versions during the 1st yr. EG My Glary Utilities just upgraded to the newest version a week ago. Still shows remaining of 1 yr licence.

Dawn, Thanks Dawn for the follow-up. I didn't think to read the boiler plate that is always with the installation read me file. Usually they put these limitations on the first advertising page before you download. Cheers
