Doesn't work well with windows vista

Not really a entertaining game. Runs very slow. Very monotonous graphics, especially the audio. Feels very boring at last.

I thought the two games last week were bad, but at least they could actually be PLAYED! There is nothing wrong with my memory or graphics. The problem is with this game. It’s junk. I have not been a member here for a very long time, but I can honestly say that I have NEVER seen as wide a variety of problems with a program (in the comments section) as I have seen with this one. Now if you will excuse me, I have a little uninstalling to do…..

I guess that I won't be able to try this game because of the "Memory Access Violation" error.

Oh well, it looks like it is not a good game anyway so I am not losing anything worthwhile. I know it is a bit late, but other have complains about the same problem and no solution has been posted,

I'm getting an invalid page fault with this game. I haven't as a rule had many issues with programs or games from GAoTD before, but since this one hasn't had that many positive comments as well as a list of several different errors, I am not going to fight with it. I'll just delete the installation folder and be done with it.

Unfortunate that I wasn't able to try it out.

Install was easy. Sent it to a folder on my desktop for easy deletion later. Made me a little dizzy so I uninstalled it...

whoever said that the "memory access violation error" is due to lack of RAM is wrong. I have 2 gigs and I get the error too.

Depends what operating system you use. If you use vista... not enough.

Oh, and everybody here that is complaining.... please get your computers up to date. This is a game that requitres a good computer so you can turn on blur, HiQ etc.

Another game that looked good. Another error message "Windows cannot open the file Folder ... is invalid" This gets old.

actually nice little game...controls work good and it is made to be able to keep going even if you crash the car...which can be fun on it's own...try it....8)

does need some spell checking before you release to the public tho...especially in the preferences boxes...

@ # 58 - I have a Gfx Card that will play Bioshock, STALKER, MoHA:A and more, so your comment of "For all of you that are getting texture errors, it means that your graphics cards are not good enough to support the textures in this games." is bollocks.

Well, I tried the Training, Single and Grand Prix options. The graphics are really good, but the gameplay is a bit wonky.

First, the race track map would ghost several copies of itself making it difficult to see where you are.

Second, when you lift off the accelerator the car's RPMs go down to almost nothing instead of just a slight reduction.

Third, the left/right controls are extremely slow in responding.

Even with good graphics I have to give this one a thumbs down due to being basically unplayable on my system for the controls.

Score: 2/10 due to controls

Downloaded fine, installed fine...but keep getting message about cant find the track....i noticed a few other people also have this problem, has anyone got and suggestions please...i reckon my son would love this game if it worked ok! Installed (there is no uninstaller!), ran game and it conked out straight away with an error message "Memory Access Violation - OK". Deleted the game installation folder with Windows file explorer and jotted down the software programmers name. Will avoid their programs in future.

You get what you paid for on this one! Installed easily. Runs well. Terrible game... Sorry.

Glad I didn't pay for this one. Very poor graphics, often giving a blurry, ghosted image. Controls are either unresponsive or over-responsive, but never just right. Sound fx are a joke - sounds like a bee trapped in a jam jar.

On several oocasions, while closely following an opponent's car I got the WRONG WAY message.

Anyone who thinks it's a good game must have played some real rubbish.

MediaResearchGroup - try researching some media as your name suggests, but leave writing software to the professionals.

Wow. This is AWESOME. I love the website. I really wish I knew about this a year ago. I wanted WebcamMax. This game is soo fun.

Gives the error "can't find tracks." Tried re-installing several times ... same problem. Guess my old single-core pentium 4 with only 512 mb memory just can't find the tracks ...

For all of you that are getting texture errors, it means that your graphics cards are not good enough to support the textures in this games.

For those of you that are getting memory access violation, it means that you dont have enough ram to run the game. Simple as that.

Was excited about this at first, but some of the comments completely make me NOT want to download. No uninstall program, errors, etc. Sounds like a pre-alpha version to me.

As others have noted, there is no uninstall program. This does not show up in the control panel or in Revo Uninstaller, and there ARE numerous entries in the Registry. GOTD should not ever offer a program with such shortcomings.

It doesn't work. Tried XP compatibility, as administrator. Tried changing resolution (various up to 1440x900). It just says Unable to set Graphics mode!

i probably wouldn't have liked this game anyway (i am not a fan of racing games) but i could not get this one to work. it installed ok, and tarted fine, but when i went to start a race i got an error that said "error texture name-'0051'. so i guess i wont be able to find out if i would actually like this one!

If you get a "Memory Access Error" in XP. Goto Control Panel, System, Advanced, Performance, then browse to the .exe file and add to DEP. Have to do the same in Vista (DEP), but a different way.

I wont download this game. Just not into racing games all that much. Plus sickness in family took interest away a bit. Just wanted to help with the DEP problem. Some of you can Google "memory access error", or "DEP". There are other work arounds if my suggestion doesnt work for you.

uhk. it doesnt work and i tried all everything including changing my resolution and color depth. it just says Unable to set graphics mode!

This game seems to have sum kind of error with the Track folder.
i've had his game for about 3 hours now and i can't open it because every sing track i select isint "found". if anyone else has this problem or knows how to fix this please post.....Thanks In Advanced

I reïnstalled the game, the work a bit better, but the graphics are bad, the spelling mistake are very obvious, the menu is crap, the keyboard keys aren't adjustable. It's more a game made by a 12 year-old.

My advice: Don't download.

Same as others, vista machine with 2 gigs ram, less then 6 months old, texture error 55.. I have no problem running other games from here 99% of the time... And it looked like it might of been a good game to play too.. Really disappointed that we wait all week for a game and then it doesn't even work. It doesn't even make a way to start the game in the programs menu. You have to make a shortcut to it yourself. It doesn't have an uninstall. I'm sure there are things in my regestry that i'll ahve to dig out now to get rid of it. Just deleting the folder isn't getting rid of what the program installed on my machine. VERY disappointed. You would expect better from a site like this. You can get garbage like this anywhere on the net free.

Oh and there are alot spelling mistakes, through out the game. As I said, the cheapest game ever

Im sorry, but this is the worsed and cheapest racing game ever.
the car stays in neutral, the brake is more like drifting, the menu is crap.

GOATD delivers in zip, it then delivers in rar. Hard opponents is default. A little laggy, though that may just be my computer. VERY unique as far as I know, the mouse can steer. Imo, thats bad. And the camer tilts and pans as you steer, its a bit over the top. After five minutes I'm tempted to delete it, but laughing at the specs which it doesn't run on(haha at 26 and 33), I might as well keep it on this piece of poo.

I have the same "Error texture name - '0051' on an XP box. Many others have commented here on this error. I guess the game must not really be in active development, since the programmers are not responding to the numerous posts of this same error.

May we please have a solution? The little I did get to play before it died was fun!

wow, deleted this game. I think that may be one of the worst racing games I've played.... Speed/turning is completely unrealistic ... I think it's impossible to wipe out in this game.... I tried to get the car to drift/slide in as many ways as possible... It happened once when I was on the grass. If you tap the handbrake you go from 200 (km/h)? to 100 instantaneously. These car seem to have very slow acceleration also... maybe it's just how the game feels so slow though.

The camera angles are pretty horrible too. There's no good chase came - they are either too far away or too loose, and the incar cams only work in some of the cars (some of them you just see the front of the car across the screen).

Then there's the graphics... they're just... plain bad, and I had every setting maxed out @ 1600x1200.

Downloaded and installed okay but it runs EXTREMELY slow on my 600mhz Win Xp Home with GeForce 9000 vid card, that's not a good thing for a racing game, it's just not fun, low graphics quality as well. I would pass on this unless you have a high-end pc with good graphics card.
