Registration details are displayed on the webpage once you have requested a free key .No problems whatsoever downloading and activating the software.

At this very moment still 33 minutes to go.

I installed this software when there was still just about 5 hours left as, though I'd intended to do so all day, only now could I get around to it.

Have to say I'm surprised that so many have expressed dissatisfaction. On my laptop, using Win 10 Pro, it took less than 15 minutes to download, install, activate and briefly try it out. The process was flawless. Adding SO Photo Retoucher 4.0 now makes a total of 15 photo/image software programs that I own and use extensively, 4 of which are from Soft Orbits (Editor, Background Remover, Sketch Drawer); they are as good as, if not better than, all the other 11 and the same can be said of every SO product I've used in the past. I don't remember having to deal with any hassles or troublesome issues with SoftOrbits software since my first a coupla years or so ago. I'm not trying to sell anybody here; I'm simply calling it as I see it, my experience.

Many thanks to GOTD and SoftOrbits - again.

I agree and have commented before about this company's GOTD software suddenly become deactivated. Will not download this.

Anyway, I have free plugin that I have used for many years that beat's the hell out of any of this type of automatic software. The last time I extolled it's qualities someone rightly commented that it's use was limited because it was only 32 bit. Well it has now been upgraded to 64 bit. With full manual control, bit by bit you can take anything out of your picture and pretty well reconstruct what was behind it. With its resizable brush you can drag in any part of a broad region of your image to cover your target, and with the "capture range" slider adjust how well it blends in. If you have some window frame visible you can repeatedly pull random bits of it in to build a frame where your target was hiding it. MV's Wireworm. I don't know if there are other similar programs/plugins out there, but as far as I am concerned this is a work of genius. http://vicanek.de/imageprocessing/wireworm.htm

I had no problems downloading and installing. I've had many of Soft Orbits software. My email is already on file with them. That maybe the reason for the easy install and getting a license. Everything they put out is great and Photo Retoucher is no different. Thanks to GOTD and Soft Orbits

Does SoftOrbits still have the same Problem as in the past? as i mean adding the License from one free GOTD software from them, makes the License's from any other Free software from them suddenly not work anymore???
This happened a lot in the past, as i have also commented in the past at that problem.

If it still does then i won't be trying there software, which is a Pity as a couple seem to be good.

Mark.

All I get is an "offer is expired" when I click the link to get a key. I downloaded again and got the same message again. That's enough for me. The time above says I still have 13 hours and 14 minutes to get it. How can the offer be already expired? I am sorry, but I can't waste my day any further just to get sent to a web page that informs me the offer is expired when 13 hours still remain to get it. Don't say I didn't tell you so if it happens to you too

I used this software to remove old-fashioned telephone cables (3 of them) from a photo. It worked flawlessly... cables... gone. There is no 'Save As' option as was noted - to 'save as' you have to "export" the retouched image.

They claimed here:

https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/soft-orbits-photo-stamp-remover-8-3/

that the problem of deactivation was fixed. Yet, still many posters questioned their practices then, and continue to do so till this day, because SoftOrbits' statement proved to be untrue.

I do not trust this developer, and will not bother to download any of their software.

Thanks but no sale. Ok install Windows 10 x64 Pro. Basic design system with Drag & Drop that failed. Had to use File mgt.
Correction sliders not dynamic, don't see change effect until release the slider. Very primitive set of tools. Pass.

I did let virustotal.com do a check of the Setup; two remark's and both different:

I did install the software.
The first time it started it was not registered:

After a restart of the program all was OK:

I did download some photo's from the Internet.
On purpose I did select a lot at first and it went wrong:

After that I took several steps; I did not fine tune anything:

Give away of the day is a great site and I have used many quality programs and trust them.
But you must read the feedback first.

Thanks for the feedback. I always check the feedback before I download.
Won't use this one.

It worked as advertised but if you want to save your new pic, you have to buy a license. A free version today does not allow to "save as" function.

Did you check About?
Did you look at the title-bar and saw Giveaway of the day?:

I had to restart the program for that.

The download and registration was easy but that is where it ends. I have used many programs just like this, but I really don't like this one. The only tool that I had no problem with was the UNDO. I tried to erase a scratch on a garage door and it turned the whole pic red but when I applied the tool , it was exactly as previous. I then tried to remove a board from the door and after three tries, I gave up. The clone tool was unbearable.
There are many free programs and certainly previously given programs from GOTD that are a lot easier and better than this one.
I am erasing this and moving on. Thank you GOTD and Soft Orbits but I will pass on this offer.

Will never use anything from softorbits again. Read past feedback to see why.
Install at your own risk. You may find other software mysteriously becomes deactivated

If you can't trust a software producer, you can't trust its software product.

SoftOrbits' website endorsement from alleged customer 'Brian Kieran' -- The only think I can say: I like to have such a wonderful program to be the envy of all my friends and families -- is so blatantly phony as to be almost hilarious.

Less funny, however, is the website's fake before-and-after example of a Russian architectural hardscape. The software here is claimed to not only remove the central principal figure but also erase a trio (or quartet) of figures grouped to the right. Apparently, it's all down to the software's processing abilities and how, in this instance, background automatically restored".

What nonsense. The shape, size and color of the window sill behind that group of figures is entirely obscured in the original shot. No way can any software "automatically" devise / design an architectural feature, install it in an image, and paint it in, in the correct color.

Although nowadays substantially reduced in size, this particular "after" picture has long been displayed on this developer's website. And has long been justifiably criticised. SoftOrbits, however, remains impervious to criticism.

On which basis then, thanks, GOTD, but no thanks.

Plenty of software these days employs the same algorithmic techniques seen here, but doesn't hype itself with fake pictures and customer endorsements.

GOTD regular Teorex is to be recommended (and especially if you can get your hands on early, rather than later, versions.) As for commercial software, the work of Russian developer Movavi and its Photo Editor continues to be exemplary.

MikeR,
Thanks for the information about Movavi Photo Editor, downloaded the trial version at the following link:-
https://www.movavi.com/photosuite/

I had never heard of it, a bit of a surprise as it is a beautiful program to use.
Just to give you an idea of how clever it is took a photograph of my daughter-in-law and tried the eyeshadow.
Selected a colour, placed the mouse over the eye and left clicked. This clever, clever piece of software worked out where to place the eyeshadow and did it perfectly. There's a smart piece of programming going on there.

Just love it when you get programming of this quality, going to have fun playing with this program.

SoftOrbits, you really should read all the comments made and respond to the issues, like using the photo to advertise your product that many claim is bogus, and the fact your products when installed often de-register your other installed products. if you did I may look into your offer today, but given all the negative feedback and lack of response from you I've decided not to which is a shame as who knows, your honest response could clear up a lot of these issues for people.
