Track time as you work. An easy and clean time tracker with live visual reports of time worked and wasted for immediate and actionable insights. Detailed time reports are accessible from anywhere.
Unfortunately support at Smart Clip only hope the data will not be wiped.
Found the use of the app very cumbersome. Hit Ctrl+q and it flashes up momentarily but doesn't stay on screen to allow selection of the text. I found it had pasted the last highlighted entry on the clipboard. To get it to work properly I had to:
1. Hold down Ctrl
2. Hit Q twice
3. Keep holding down ctrl
4. Select text to be pasted
5. Sellected text was then pasted
I tried rebooting, then reinstalling but it made no difference to the way it as functioning

Can you save specific clips as permanent clips rather than having to scroll through the entire history list to choose the one I want?

Rob Nolan, no it just shows a window with a list of clips saved and you locate and select the clip you want if it's within the list of retained clips.
ClipDiary has a tab of "snippets" that can contain a selection of user definable text snippets that can be pasted into current window or the clipboard to be ctrl+v pasted.

If I use a "clean-up" utility such as Wise 365 will it wipe the clipboard data held by Smart or is that data ring-fenced?
Save | Cancel
Colin, no because wise 365 has no business messing with developers databases.
